CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE🔞
~DAPHNE~
I got scared as I tipped out of the dormitory. I froze as I saw Mrs Nelson, dozing at the front of her desk which was close to the door. My only consolation was the fact that she was snoring really loudly.
I took slow and steady steps till I got to the door. My hands twisted on the doorknob, and it was locked.
“s**t!” I cursed silently under my breath. My eyes darted around and the next best bet was to go through the window. Again, I tiptoed till I got to the window and luckily, it opened.
I glanced at Mrs Nelson to be sure she wasn’t looking before opening it and jumping down.
I stared at the empty school. There was not a single soul in sight. The night was cold and dark and I shivered in fear as I ran into the department till I got to the library.
