CHAPTER TWENTY—THREE
~DAPHNE~
I knocked on Professor Raven’s door and opened it. Standing in front of me was Professor Blowfish. I gave him a light bow to accord respect but he just kept staring at me.
I shrugged, starting to feel uncomfortable and self-aware—I didn’t like people staring at me.
“Daphne! Please come in,” I heard Professor Raven speak. I glanced at her, and then back at Professor Blowfish who gave me a last glance before walking out of the office, closing the door behind him.
I wondered what that was about.
“Good afternoon, Professor Raven. I have something to discuss with you,” I blurted out and she gestured towards the chair opposite her. She had a sleek wooden table separating us.
