Wait just wait

"So what did the scale say today? You should be down by at least twelve pounds, that was the target for this month. BUT you know I always say that measurements tell more truth than the number on the scale, I am excited to hear about those, the difference on your waist must be noticeable, I know those core exercises do not play." She really was thrilled. Kierra really was expecting an answer and in all absolution anticipating only a positive response. Meghan felt like screaming, like throwing a fit and busting into tears because all she could think about was the scattered remains of her bathroom scale which she had annihilated by bashing it repeatedly against the washroom's countertop edge. That bloody piece of metal and plastic had to be destroyed, it was only right seeing as it destroyed her entire being by refusing to give a different reading. Just seven more pounds subtracted and she would have been close to content- but no, after enduring a bland diet which made her cry more times than the thought of never bagging the domineering silver- fox of her dreams did, and almost tearing her limbs out, victimizing her abdominal muscles and making her body hate her- she had fallen seven pounds short of the target. And to think she put in more time in the home gym than Kierra had recommended in high hopes of shredding even more fat and impressing the hell out of her. It was utterly unfair that her own body was preventing her from getting the one thing she desired and fantasized about having more than anything else in the world. Meghan was convinced that the fat clinging to her bones was to blame for her non- existent love life. Kierra did not receive the answer she was impatiently expecting and she wasn't going to get one today. It was too embarrassing to admit that she had only lost five pounds out of the twenty pounds goal.
