Chapter 6

Marcus

After my run last night I was able to finally get a full night's sleep since I met Alice. She's always on my mind and I always want to see her naked. I've never had a woman get stuck in my mind since Sam who was my high school sweet heart but she got sick and died 10 years ago. I didn't think I'd ever find someone else. Waking up I do my normal routine and get ready. In the shower I imagine Alice. But this time I don't take care of it. Hopefully today she won't be a distraction because the shipment comes today. Sitting at the table with my breakfast and coffee I wait to see Alice. But she has yet to come down. I how she is ready soon because I may want to leave early to get to the office so I can leave early to get to the warehouse. I can't take Alice with me. She doesn't need to see that side of my business. It may scare her off since it isn't a life she grew up living. She's seen the bad side of the drug world with her mom. Which she did let slip but I already knew from looking into her past. Maybe in the future once she's in deeper I can show her everything but as of now neither of us are ready for that.

Normally I don't leave Alex in charge of things but I needed to get Alice comfortable. I didn't need her running off and blabbing but I'm sure she's not that type of person. She seems to understand secrecy of this situation. She wasn't even able to go see her friend because she was unsure of what to say. Maybe once in less tense we can discuss her friend and what is okay to talk about. And maybe he will come here so I can be present. Also I know she said he's gay but I don't trust that when it comes to her. She's a very beautiful woman. I don't know why I'm so protective of her but I don't want any man left alone with her. I'd hate to have to make someone disappear. And if Alex doesn't mind his place he may find himself without eyes. She's mine and I won't share her. Alex and I have shared before because normally I don't mind and alot of women like having more than one man at a time. Or at least the women that are into the same things we are into.

Alice

I'm trying to get ready but nothing is cooperating this morning. My hair is sticking up, my dresses are too tight and I can't figure out my make up. This is why I've always been glad I was poor because I couldn't afford all of this and didn't worry about it. But I know I can't go downstairs and see Marcus after yesterday and he seen me all done up. I let out a frustrated groan. Okay get yourself together Alice I say to myself. I grab a brush and pull my hair up into a tight ponytail. Walking to the closet I grab a black pant suit, a white cami, and black thong from the drawers. I put my clothes on and just decide to do some simple lip foods and mascara. No need to make it complicated. Sometimes simple is best and I look good. The time in my phone shows is seven forty five, damn no time for food or coffee.

Making my way downstairs I see Marcus by the door looking at his watch. Maybe he wanted to be early I think to myself. "Finally I thought I'd have to come up and get you. Go get a coffee and something quick to eat so we can go. I need to get to the office earlier than I intended." Marcus says to me. I respond "Well good morning to you too." I walk into the kitchen and the staff already had something ready for me. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate this." I say to them.

Tony is waiting for us and opens the doors for us to get in. As we start driving I drink my coffee and moan at the flavor and Marcus looks at me quizzically. I just shrug it off and start eating the fruit and pastry the staff packed for me. I wonder if they bake these or but then because they are amazing. Marcus is scrolling through his phone when I finish eating. The silence in the car is deafening. Sometimes I wonder if Tony can read my thoughts because he turns on some music. the drive to the office goes quickly. When we pull up Marcus opens the door and holds his hand out for me to get out.

We ride the elevator up to our floor and add it stops I jump. Marcus just eyes me and gives a concerned look. This man is so weird, sometimes when he looks at me I feel like he sees through my clothes and other times he looks annoyed. I just walk ahead of him and go to my desk and sit down powering up my computer. Once it is on I look through the emails to forward to him or just quick easy responses. Before I know it Marcus beeps my phone to tell me to order some lunch he doesn't care what but he's hungry. I pull up some close local places and order some sub sandwiches and chips. About twenty minutes later the food arrives and I take Marcus in his food and walk out.

A couple hours later I go in to talk to Marcus but he's not in his office. I want to snoop a little because I know nothing about this man. Looking around his desk there's nothing but work papers and nothing in the drawer. But as I go to walk out the room I hear a grunt behind me and I see a door I didn't notice before. Walking over I hear small little grunts and I put my ear up to the door. That's when I notice they aren't grunts but little moans coming from inside. I listen for a while until I hear a loud grunt so I walk away. Just going to assume he's human and was just going to the bathroom. I have no idea what he was doing. As I'm walking out of the office Marcus comes out of the bathroom. He looks disheveled and sweaty. With his sleeves rolled up, top two buttons undone, and belt unbuckled Maybe he was doing something else. He sees me watching him walk and he smirks and throws a wink my way. Marcus

Around two o'clock I get a call from Oscar telling me the drivers have crossed the Mexico border. I send a text to Alex asking if he has met the trucks. He responds immediately and says he's with the trucks driving in front of them. They are on the way to the warehouse. It should be about two hours before they arrive so I need to get Alice and take her home so I can head to the warehouse. I send her an email stating we will be leaving in an hour to head home so she needs to finish whatever she is doing.

I walk out of my office and she is ready to go. We ride down the elevator in silence but she is watching me. Tony pulls up to the garage door and it opens for us, he pulls through and it takes a moment for my eyes to adjust. I see the semi trailers in the warehouse and my men unloading the crates. I'm glad this delivery has gone smoothly this time. The tops of the crates are covered with fruits from Mexico, under that are the cocaine bundles all wrapped up. Let's just get all of this dealt with and distributed where it needs to go. The dealers were really low and without enough money coming in, they get antsy and try to leave." I say back a little more forceful then necessary. He walks away knowing not to question me anymore on the subject.

I really need to get laid and drink some to let some of the tension in my body go. As much as I want Alice that takes some time I don't want to take just yet. "Tony take me to the club." I says and he just nods. On the drive I just sit back and rest my head on the headrest with my eyes closed. I just need a few minutes to just relax so I don't lose my temper. We pull up and I enter through the back just because I don't need to wait or be asked questions right now. I go straight up to the vip area that is always blocked off for me. At that time Tony motions with his head again that someone is coming and I look and find Alex on his way to me. He passes Tony with a weird look on his face I don't understand. It may be because I made Alex my second instead of Tony but that's because I trust Tony with my life more so then Alex. Alex sits down and raises his eyebrows to me indicating the women seem ready and he already knows I will share them. Trish brings Alex over a glass with whiskey in it and rolls her eyes at the women.
