Unknown POV I watched as Trisha stumbled toward the woman’s bathroom. Her mate was preoccupied with one of my men, who bad diverted his attention by threatening to make her his. I felt no pity as I knew Gavin would not show mercy. My men were nothing more than pawns to me. I ducked into a shadowed corner and shifted, becoming Gavin. Fire rose oil adorned my skin to mimic the mate bond. I had developed an immunity to it over the centuries. It’s toxins didn’t affect me anymore.
