I had almost leapt for joy when the Prince and Vampire spoke so casually about the Rogue Human. Although they may not have said she was the Prince’s mate in those exact words, everything else said was confirmation enough. Especially the tidbit where she would be his Queen.
Now my plans could commence, and as I watched them throughout that evening I realized they had left her vulnerable. She hadn’t known about supernatural kind. And I watched and listened as they revealed us to her. But it was interesting how they avoided telling her the danger she faced, and how desirable she was to other supernatural kind. They intentionally left her without that knowledge.
