Paige I popped into Hephaestus' forge, feeling a little dizzy from the trip and Hecate's magic, I wobbled on my feet. Heat pulsed all around me and I nearly sighed in contentment. I was finally warm. Back at Hecate's, so close to the Underworld and the damn curse on my soul, I'd been numb and almost normal. Otherwise, I'd been increasingly freezing. Now it was like I'd walked into a delicious sauna that turned the perfect temperature for me. The mechanical robots busied with their work, banging out sheets of metal or weapons, heating steel until it was glowing orangish-red, or thrusting finished projects in buckets of water to lock in the heat.
