I paused on a building's rooftop, glancing down at the city, hunting for Paige. But it was like she'd vanished. Dread coiled in my gut. What if Zeus had her? Or Poseidon had figured out where she was and was taking her to Olympus now?
A glimmer of promise caught my eye as I spotted Emily and Daniel below me talking to a tour guide. I teleported next to them.
"Hey, how are you both?" What I wanted to do was grab them by the shoulders and shake them, asking if they'd seen Paige today.
"Oh, Henri," Emily gasped using the name Paige gave them when she had introduced me. "I didn't notice you there. We're fixing to go on a tour of Delphi-want to come?"
"No, thanks though. Have either of you seen Paige?"
"Not since this morning." Emily shook her head and looked to Daniel for confirm
