Silverpine Ridge is a quiet town surrounded by a thick, mysterious forest—one the locals warn never to enter after dark.
Elena Carter arrives in town with her mother, hoping for a fresh start after leaving her old life behind. Everything feels unfamiliar, but something about the town pulls her in—especially the forest.
On her first day at school, Elena struggles to fit in, but she quickly befriends Maya, a lively and talkative girl who tells her about the strange rumors surrounding the woods—disappearances, animal attacks, and eerie howls at night.
Later that evening, unable to shake her curiosity, Elena finds herself drawn toward the forest. The deeper she goes, the quieter it becomes… until she hears something move in the shadows.
Suddenly, a pair of glowing eyes appears in the darkness.
Terrified, Elena tries to run—but trips and falls. Just as the creature lunges, a mysterious young man appears out of nowhere and scares it off.
Breathing heavily, Elena looks up to see him—tall, intense, with piercing eyes and a presence that feels both dangerous and protective.
“Stay away from this place,” he warns coldly.
Before she can ask anything, he disappears into the darkness, leaving her confused and shaken.
