Life seemed to be great after that night. Aaron and his parents moved into a large house right next door to us. It hadn't been lived in for years but the pack made sure it was maintained. The house didn't cost them a thing because this was pack land and everything on pack land was free to pack members as long as they did their part to help the pack. We were always together after that from the time we woke up until it was time to go to bed there were even nights that he would stay until I fell asleep and then he would go home but I just couldn't shake this feeling that I was being watched I didn't tell anyone about my feeling because I knew they would overreact and it was probably just my imagination playing tricks on me I sat up in my bed trying to wake up fully tonight was my eighteenth birthday and for once I couldn't wait for the celebration I had always dreaded this day but now with Aaron by my side it's like taking over the pack feels like no big deal I think I can do anything with him there just then all of the hairs on my body stood up and that feeling hit me again like I was being watched but how could that even be possible my bedroom is on the second floor it doesn't make any sense I pushed the feeling aside and went to take a shower and get ready for the day. Standing in the shower I couldn't help but think back to that feeling. I've been having my heart races and my breath quickens almost like I'm having a panic attack. Then I get this strange feeling like there's someone there but there's never anyone here. It's starting to annoy me. Whoever is watching me better have a damn good reason when I find them and I will find them. Getting out of the shower I couldn't help but smile today is the day that my life changes forever. I will become the first female alpha ever and announce that I have found my mate. As far as everyone in the pack knows, Aaron has only moved to pack lands because his family is a part of the coven that we have now started within the pack lands with my mother as the coven leader and his dad as her second. Announcing to the pack that my mom was starting a coven went over better than we thought it would. Not all wolves are keen on the idea of wolves and witches coinciding seeing as witches are the reason weres exist in the first place but everyone here loves my mom and has never treated her with anything but respect. Not to mention if the s**t ever hit the fan, having a few witches on our side wasn't a bad idea. SUMMER!!!!! My mom yelled from my bedroom pulling me out of my thoughts. Are you still in that bathroom? Get your tail end out here right now. We have a long day ahead of us and your daydreaming is costing us daylight. I was not daydreaming mom, I said, opening the door. She smiled and said please who do you think you're talking to? I'm your mother. I know everything about you and I know that if it took you that long to shower it's because you've been thinking about how todays going to go but if we don't get everything ready for tonight it's not going to go well. So get dressed and let's get started. I have your dress being delivered this afternoon and a stylist and makeup artist are coming as well so that's set. All we need is the setup and food prep meat is being taken care of by dad and his bata, seeing as tonight is for his son as well mom said. So we need to get the sides made. All of the sweets are coming from the bakery in town. We ordered them days ago, she said. We need about 20 strong men to help with the setup outside, the stage won't build itself and all of the chairs and tables need to be set up as well. Okay I said after I finished dressing and pulled my long brown hair into a messy bun at the top of my head. Well let's go down and get started. I'll go get Kyle and his friend to do the set up and maybe some older men to make sure they are doing it right. Then we can help the omegas with the sides. Mom smiled then said spoken like a true alpha. I couldn't help but smile and hug her. Thank you mom for all of the help today. She hugged me back then we headed down stairs. The closer I got to the front of the house there was this strong sweet smell coming from the kitchen. So I asked mom, didn't you say all of the sweets were coming from the shop downtown? Yes dear.
Then what is that sweet smell coming from the kitchen? My mom smiled and then laughed. Aaron must be here. She said your smelling your mate for the first time with your full wolf. When you turn eighteen your wolf senses develop. Compare it to a plant. As a young plant with no flowers on it it really has no smell to it at all but when it becomes mature and flowers it has a beautiful smell to it. Same with wolves as young woves your senses are underdeveloped but now they are at full strength that is why you can now smell your mate. Oh I said well let's not keep him waiting then I headed into the kitchen only to see Kyle standing there talking to the omegas about the food for tonight. I couldn't help but smile. He always did take his job seriously then it hit me again that wonderful smell but no Aaron to be found. MOM I said standing in the doorway and she knew instantly what I was saying it for but before I could retreat from the kitchen without being noticed Kyle turned and looked at me. His eyes got big and he walked over to me in three big steps. He was in front of me with his nose in my neck taking in my scent.
Mom mind linked my dad and before Kyle had stopped smelling me his dad and mine were rushing in. Dad what's going on? Kyle and I looked at them. She already has a mate. How can we also be mates? My dad and his Bata Andrew both smiled already knowing the answer to this but not being sure that it would happen they kept this to themselves until right now. You need to call Aaron over hunny. We all need to talk, my dad said. I called him and in a few minutes he was there in our living room. All three of us sat on the couch waiting for my dad to tell us whatever it was that he needed to.
My dad stood in front of us looking a little uncomfortable and not saying anything. Dad, are you going to just keep us waiting all day? He sighed no but it is hard to explain when we don't understand it completely our selfs. When you were born we were told that you being both a wolf and witch some things would be different. We were told a lot of things that day but the only thing that matters right now is that you my dear have two mates. What? All three of us said at the same time. Both of you are her mates she is both wolf and witch and the elders seem to think that she has two souls one tied to her witch side and the other is tied to her wolf side and because of this they say she may also have two soul mates and seeing as we already know Aaron is her mate and now you have imprinted on her as well it must be true. Dad, I don't understand how this can be possible. And yet my dear, here we are. Can you think of any other reason why there are two young men sitting on my couch both looking at you like nothing else exists? I looked at both of them and my heart felt like it was going to explode with happiness. I couldn't help but smile. But i was soon brought back to reality when that feeling hit me again but this time it was worse like whoever was watching me was closer somehow. Ok dad tonight i am suppose to announce becoming the first female alph to three different species of people and then throw in that i have not only found my mate but both of my mates and watch everyone overreact. This should be a blast I said, laughing nervously.
Hunny you need to calm down while wolves are true to their mate, it is not the nineteen hundreds. Everyone will understand that you are different and because of that you have two mates. And anyone who doesn't like it can keep it to themselves because you are their alpha and they have no right to judge you. Well none of this is even going to matter if we don't get everything finished for tonight. Mom will you help me finish getting ready? You bet I will. Kyle, you and your boys finish setting up the chairs and stage. Dad, will you get a few guys together to help Aaron set up the tables for the food and gifts? The girls will have all of the sides done soon. Will do sweetheart then we will finish the hunt. Thank you dad I said as then I turned to my mom. Shall we? We shall. Then we turned and headed to the library where everything was being set up for my makeover
