"What would happen if there were more hybrids? Do you think the council will find them and question them too?"
"If there were more hybrids, Cherry," he says and looks up at me. "The council would already know unless they were hiding so well that even the council could not find them," he smiles at me.
"If that girl never told the council about you, do you think they'd ever know?" I ask curiously.
"No. I am very good at hiding," he winks at me and I smile.
I lean down closer to him, my lips hovering over his,"If the council ever hurt you, I would kill them. You know that right?"I ask softly and his eyes flicker to black and back to blue.
"I would rip apart the world to save you if anything happened to you in this war," he whispers to me as I rest my forehead against his.
