CHAPTER FOUR
Georgia looked across the road at the eight-storey building, Tower Point, her first place of employment. She was nervous, she had to admit, which was unusual for her as she didn’t really suffer from anxiety. It was ten minutes to nine. She still had time to listen to one more track on her MP3 player. She chose ‘Gangsters’ by The Specials.
As she stood outside the reception doors, a girl about her age came walking up the steps towards her. When the girl stopped opposite her, Georgia took her noise-cancelling headphones off and hung them around her neck.
“Georgia Belle?” asked the girl. “I heard you were starting today. I’m Daisy Ripley, your supervisor.”
“Hi!” replied Georgia, shaking her hand.
