“Have a great day, Georgie,” said Evelyn, leaning in and kissing her sister on the cheek. “You’re on a half day today, right?”
“Yeah,” replied Georgia, playing with her hair in front of the tiny mirror. “We’re going for drinks at lunchtime. And don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten I’m coming to the hotel to help you. But that’s not until about four, is that right?”
“Four is fine,” she replied. Tom had given her the day off, knowing how much she had to do before the guests arrived at the hotel at three o’clock. “Is Nick coming?”
“Yeah, he said he’ll be along but not until about six,” replied Georgia, turning to her. “How do I look?”
