Evelyn nodded in agreement. “Aren’t the models supposed to be here by now?” asked Natalie, who’d finished serving the last of the guests. “I’m going to get the kit out of my car. You’d better find them, honey; they might be wandering around looking for us.” Tom saw the worried look on Evelyn’s face. He saw her looking down at her mobile phone. Evelyn’s calmer heart started racing once more. “I’ll be back in a minute,” she replied.
