CHAPTER ELEVEN Evelyn awoke to the faint, muffled sound of ‘I Miss You’, again. Georgia just wouldn’t stop listening to it, and how it hadn’t driven her sister barmy by now, she didn’t know. It was Thursday, the first of August. She had a busy day ahead of her: she had to open the coffee shop by herself for the first time, survive the early morning rush until Tom arrived at half nine; then she had to visit a potential client about an event in Shoreham; then she had to help Tom with the lunch rush until Henry Werner arrived at three, when she finished her shift.
