22. Alone and afraid

2016 Words

She is sitting alone in a strange room, the furniture is old, but clean and she can see into the bathroom connected to the room. It’s old, like from the seventies. There is a light on and the yellow of the bulb is casting everything into a weird shade of brown. The bed cover is burgundy red and she has a small side table. That’s it. No other furniture and no windows either. She can’t even guess what time it is, because someone took her watch. Her phone is gone and basically every personal possession, they even took her shoes. Whoever ‘they’ is. She didn’t see anyone in the underground garage and one last glance onto her phone was the last thing she remembers. There was a message from Allegra, but she never got to read it. Someone grabbed her from behind and a bag was pushed over her head.
