Chapter 1 Noah Gerald Sky After A Year There's a loud bang on my door. Groaning, I roll over the bed, the duvet getting tangled around my feet and body. The warmth of it makes me want to sleep more, and even dream more. This is the first day of school, of being a senior. There will be lots and lots of new students. Another bang on the door. Getting off the bed is against my will, but I fight the urge of getting back to sleep. I walk towards the door and open it, only to reveal the annoying face of Gloss Kaiser Schlund, my annoying step-brother. "What?" I snarl at him, glaring. It's too early. It's only 6 in the morning, and the school won't start until 8am, so what's with the deal of waking me up so early? We still have 2 hours to prepare, and not to mention, the school is just near to my house. "Richard said wake up," Gloss says disgustedly, glaring at me. "Get your ass downstairs. Mom keeps bugging me to wake you up." I roll my eyes at him, uninterested of what he's saying. In fact, I really don't care about him. Genny Cecil, my new mom, is all I really care. She makes my dad happy. I just hope she won't leave us, like my own mother did. She left us for another guy, that's 5 years ago. She doesn't care about us, she only cares about her new guy. What a freaking b***h. I mean, dad is such a nice guy. Who would have thought that a guy, a very nice, caring, loving guy, like my father would be dumped? "Yeah," I snarl, glaring daggers at him. Gloss just irritates me. He's annoying. Very annoying. I hate everything about him. At school, nobody knows we live in the same house. I threatened him. We made a deal. "Now get out. Hopefully, in my freaking life." "Geez, what an asshole you are." He mocks me. I just slam the door in his face. But before that, I saw that he made a face at me. What a freaking b***h! He really irritates me. Not bothering about it, I take a shower. After that, I wear my uniform. My school, or my dad's school, the Sky International High School, requires the students to wear a uniform. The uniform for men is a white, sleeveless, button-up polo, a black made of silk pants, and a black shoes whereas girls' uniform is the same as for men, and a black skirt that must be, at least, knee level, and a black, at least 2 inches, heels. But knowing the sluts, they need a shorter skirts. And the school doesn't pay attention to it. When I get down, the family is already at their seats. My dad is wearing a white, long-sleeve polo, tucked in his gray pants. He's also wearing a red tie. He's drinking coffee as he reads the newspaper, his dark hair is gelled to the side. "Good morning, sweety." Genny chortles as she kisses my right cheek. Dad sees us and hides a smile using the newspaper. I know he's happy about Genny and I getting along, but I know he's also pissed that Genny's son, Gloss, and I cannot get along. "Good morning, too, mom." I say as I give her a bear hug. I swear she's the best woman ever. She prefers to cook, rather than the maids. She wants us to taste her cooks. When she came here into this house, this house lightened up, became colorful. What's best is that, the first week she came here, she told dad that every Sunday is family day, so we would go out every Sunday. Though I try to hide the giddiness that is coursing inside me every Sunday. I notice Gloss is quiet. Very unusual. Very odd. His dirty blonde hair is in its usual style; fahawk. He's wearing the same uniform as mine. He's looking at the plate full of bacon strangely. Mom sighs, noticing Gloss unusual attitude for today. "You really miss it, don't you?" Mom asks Gloss as she takes a seat across from him. Gloss just nods. What does he miss? Does he have a girlfriend back his old home? Does he miss his friends back there? Oh, hell I care. "Honey..." "It's not just about that, mom." Gloss says sadly, looking down at his lap. Seriously, what's this kid's problem? Why is he acting this way? He's always annoying. A cocky b***h. But now, it's like he's not in the mood. PMSing? "I don't have now the appetite to eat." He says as he stands up from his seat, the chair rustling as he does so. I roll my eyes at him. Jeez, what has crawled up in his ass causing him to act that way? Genny just sighs as Dad places a hand on Genny's arm. She looks at dad and gives a small, sad smile. Dad, Genny and I just eat in peace. The dining area is quiet, not like always. Usually, Gloss would rant about school and stuffs and Dad would just tease him about girls and Genny would just talk about s*x and safety tips. It's not this quiet. A year ago, just Dad and I would only take this dining area, but since Genny and her son came, all of us now are using it. After I eat, I say good-bye to both of them and head to school, driving my black Ferrari car. In 5 minutes, I am now at school, parking at the parking lot. Dad's school is big. So big. It's an international school. The school has many buildings. It includes 4 hallways. For every hallway, there is a color. Green hallway for freshmen, yellow hallway for sophomores, red hallway for juniors, and blue hallway for seniors. Each hallway is connected to each other. The walls are painted white, the lights are so bright it seems like God is going down on Earth. I pick up my books from my locker, shove it inside my bag, and head to class as the bell rings. As usual, the girls are looking at me. I just smirk at them and they look like they're going to faint. I can't help being like this. In this school, I am known as the God of Sexiness, the Noah Gerald Sky, the one and only. The jocks are walking behind me. We are a group. This school contains of 30% Asian, 30% English, and 40% American. This school is made for persons who are rich. Some of the students here are poor. The only thing why they are here is because of their scholarships. Each year has representatives. From the freshmen year, it's Gelai Summer. The representative of sophomore year is Lori Eastern. From the junior year is no other than Gloss Kaiser Schlund. Can you believe it? A year ago, he's a nobody, and now, he's the junior's representative! And from the senior year is, well, me. At the end of the hallway, there's a round room, where the hallways of each year connected, and as usual, we all meet there. Gelai and her minions, Lori and her guards, Gloss and his bodyguards, and well, me with my jock group. And as expected, Gelai winks and Lori flirts at me whereas Gloss is uninterested at meeting them. So am I. We all part ways to head to our classes. Gloss just rolls his eyes at me and I glare at him. What a moron. As I enter the room, all eyes are trained on me, including the professor. I just arch an eyebrow at him and they all back to their business. "Mr. Sky, why are you always late?" The professor asks me as he eyes me. I arch an eyebrow at him again. Who the hell is he to ask me? Not to mention to join in my business? "Shut up or else I'll fire you." I say coldly. He goes back to lecturing the class. Sam, one of the jock group, snickers at me and I give him a high-five. My classes are so boring that I nearly fall asleep to every of my subjects. The bell rings, indicating that the class is done and now it's lunch break. We all head to the big cafeteria. As we get there, all eyes are trained on me now. The jocks wave at me and I give them a grin. As I make my way there, I pass Gloss' table and he just rolls his eyes at me, muttering about something I can't hear. I give him a glare and he just gives me a bird. I nearly launch myself at him when Nero pats me on the back. I take a seat with them. "Whoa, who's that b***h and he gave you a bird?" Nero asks me. The jocks look at me, waiting for my answer. "Just a nobody I met," I say simply. "Unfortunately, he doesn't know who I am." "Want me to beat the s**t out of him?" Jeric asks and the jocks agree at him. "Nah, I'll be the one to teach him a lesson. Soon." I just say and we all head to get food. The girls are eyeing us, licking their slips slowly. The jocks just smirk at them whereas I lick my lips seductively. I order a steak and we head back to our table. The cafeteria is noisy because of the chattering of the students. Some are shouting, some are banging the table, some are just talking but their voices are too loud. "Hi, baby!" A familiar voice says behind me as she circles her arms around my waist. I give her a peck on the lips and she pouts, wanting more, so I just make out at her. The jocks whistle at us and I give them a grin as I pull my lips away from hers. "Missed me?" "Oh, I so did." I say as I give her a peck on the lips. Chelsie is my girlfriend. She's from Japan. She's a half-Japanese and half-Brazilian. Her brown complexion compliments her big brown eyes. Her black hair is almost shining and very smooth, and it's on a loose, flowing down her shoulders. She takes a seat on my lap. "Baby, are you going to the party later?" She asks me as she stabs a steak and shoves it in her mouth. I nod at her. "Then I'll see you there, babe." She gives me a peck on the lips again and I just pout at her. "Aw, don't be like that. I'll just meet my friends. I haven't seen them since last semester and that was two months ago." She gives me a hug, leans down, and whispers in my ear, "Tonight, we'll rock on the bed." I give her a smirk and she goes off to meet her friends. "Tonight, we'll rock on the bed." Karl mimics Chelsie's seductive voice, licking his lips slowly. "Oh, someone has got a plan tonight. Can we join?" The jocks laugh and I throw an empty can of Cola at them. They just laugh even more. "s**t no. You guys are asshole." I say through laugh after laugh. Then the bell rings. Since we have the same schedule (my doing), we all head to our next class. Finally, the school is done now and I head to my Ferrari car. The jocks say good bye at me and I return it back by waving at them. At home, Genny asks me how's school and I answer her, plain boring. And she just gives me a smile and says she's going to call me when dinner comes. I nod at her and head to my room to do my assignments. After 2 hours of doing my homework, I hear Genny calls my name for dinner. When I get there, Dad and Genny are already seated. "Where's Gloss?" Dad asks to Genny. "I don't know," Genny says truthfully. She scrunches her nose up and looks at me. "Have you seen Gloss at school?" She asks me. "Yeah, I saw him at the end of the hallway, and at lunch break. Other than that, no." I answer her, not really caring when it comes to Gloss. "What's with him?" Genny mumbles. Dad and I just give her a shrug. We eat our dinner. 10 in the evening and Gloss is still not here. Genny keeps calling Gloss' cellphone as she paces back and forth in the living room, Dad just watching her. Seriously, what's with him today? Where the hell is Gloss?
