Kyra’s POV The scent of roasted garlic and rosemary wafted through the kitchen as I sat at the long marble island, nursing a glass of water while Zaire’s private chef plated dinner. The space around me looked like something out of a luxury magazine. Gold pendant lights hanging above a sleek kitchen, every appliance top-tier, every surface spotless. I felt like a guest in a movie set. “I hope you eat steak,” the chef said with a polite smile. I blinked. “Yeah.
