Neil seemed lost in thought as he smoothed his hand over the solid pine walls. He had always loved working with wood. Any minute he could, he leaned in and breathed the fresh wood smell. Jed watched his brother from the doorway, looking at the quality of workmanship Neil was known for. The tongue and groove placement of the wood strips set the ambiance for a charming western feel. This was more than he expected, than he had wanted, but, at the moment, it was also something of Neil he could treasure.
