Chapter 2. Might as well party in style I didn't do much packing. My mom did all the packing while I kept crying about how they have ruined my life. I had friends here. More like fake friends who only pretended they liked me for money and popularity. Either way they were MY fake friends. I had dreams that I haven't yet to fulfill. Well as soon as I figured out what I wanted to be in life then those dreams would be clearer. I wanted to figure it all out here in a familiar surroundings. What about all the places I loved to visit? Well, I don't really like crowded places so they are not many places I liked, but the few places I did like still count. WHY? WHY? WHY? "Don't worry Baekkie. The prince will definitely like you so you have nothing to worry about," my mother tried to comfort me. Note I said tried. "What if I don't like him? What prince needs potential suitors to be sorted for him? Have you seen him or even a picture of him?" I asked. "No. I only found out about all this two days ago," she said fighting back her tears. I could see now she was really sad about me leaving. Too bad there was nothing we could do about it. "That's bad. He could be really ugly and that's why they are forcing us to be with him. He could be a sadist for all I know. Why can't he just go out and meet the love of his life like a normal teenager?" I went on and on until my mother just listened as she silently finished packing my clothes. She packed a few things because I was going to buy more stuff when I got there. As soon as she left my room I got a call from my best friend, also known as by biggest fake friend, Amber. "Hey Baekkie," she said in a joyous mood. I wish I was in the same mood but we can't get everything we want. "Hey, Amy. What's up?" I ask forcing myself to sound a little less depressed. I wish I had a real friend to tell my problems but this is all I have. Let just suck it up and take it like a man. "So, my cousin Marcus is a bouncer at this popular club and he said he can get us in and we don't even need fake IDs," she explained. "You know how I feel about crowded places," I said. "Come on Baekkie. Live a little. This could be your last day alive. Join us tonight and let's have some fun," she said. Even though I knew she was only inviting me so that I pay for the drinks, I needed this distraction. Since it was my last day in town I decided to just go along even if it wasn't something I would usually do. "Fine. Text me the address and I will meet you there at around 8 p.m," I said before cutting the call. She usually made a loud annoying sound when she was extremely happy and I would rather avoid it. I took a quick shower and changed into tight black jeans that showed off my curves, a simple black band T-shirt that fit me just right, a pair of black sneakers and a leather jacket. I looked good and all my branded clothes screamed money. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I had to agree with my dad. I did look pretty. Actually, I looked HOT. I hope the fire brigade is on stand by, because I'm about to burn down the building. When I was satisfied with my eyeliner masterpiece I went down to the underground parking lot and took the keys of my red Lamborghini. If tonight is my last night in town might as well party in style. I met up with Amber and the others about 15 minutes later. An hour later they had already got enough booze out of me to feel satisfied and had basically ditched me. "Stupid dad. Stupid friends. I don't need anyone anyway", I mumbled to myself as the effects of the alcohol sunk in. I hadn't drunk a lot but it was enough for me feel buzzed and slightly dizzy. "Having a bad day?" I heard a deep voice, that sounded very nice to my senses, asked me. "More like a bad life," I responded as I turned to face the owner of the voice. "I guess we are in the same boat," he said with a smile. I wasn't sure if it was because of the alcohol messing with my brain or by some tragedy I had died and gone to heaven. From his dark wild hair, to his brown mesmerizing orbs, to his perfect nose, to his plump lips, it all screamed unnatural perfection. No normal human being can be this handsome. He even had huge ears but all they did was add on to his perfect look. From his piercings to his amazing tattoo, his look screamed bad boy. The type that would do you so good you wouldn't walk for days. This was definitely the type of guy I had always dreamed of. Why did he have to appear the day before I was being shipped off to become a sacrifice for my family. I couldn't help the dirty thoughts that filled my head just by looking at his lips. That's when I realized his lips were moving. "Sorry. What did you say?" I asked feeling embarrassed that I had zoned out while ogling the hunk before me. He had broad shoulders and I could see his strong arms even with layers of clothing on. How would it feel like to be held with those arms while... Focus Baek, the hunk is talking to you. "I asked, if you are alright," he said. His voice causing shivers down my spine. Focus Baek. "I'm okay. I just have a lot on my mind," I said as I smiled as I basically eye raped him. He must have noticed because his smile turned into a smirk. You know what, screw formalities. This guy can take me right here right now if he wants to. No, I'm not easy or a slut. But as you can see, the man of my dreams is sitting right in front of me and I might never see him again. "Maybe I can help you clear your mind," he said lowering his voice as he leaned closer to my ear. One hand on my thigh with a little squeeze. I almost moaned from his closeness but I held it back. "Buy me a drink first and let's see where this go, Big Boy," I said, before he leaned back and turned to the bartender to order our drinks. This night might not turn out so bad after all.
