Chapter three

Riven pushed open the door to Kael’s hotel room and barely let it click shut before Kael was on him again. They stumbled inside, hands grabbing at clothes, mouths crashing together like they were still fighting for control of the game. The room was dim, just the lamp by the bed throwing soft light across the sheets. “Finally,” Kael muttered against Riven’s lips. He shoved Riven’s shirt up and off in one rough pull, tossing it somewhere on the floor. “No more stopping, no more bullshit.” Riven laughed low, but it came out shaky with want. He yanked at Kael’s shirt too, fingers digging into warm skin. “You talk big for a guy who just dragged me here. Show me, Takahashi, stop holding back.” Their shorts came off fast, kicked aside with their shoes. Skin on skin felt electric after all that teasing in the locker room. Kael backed Riven toward the bed, hands roaming over his chest, thumbs brushing his n*****s until Riven hissed and arched into the touch. They fell onto the mattress in a tangle, Riven on his back, Kael hovering over him with dark eyes. “Three years,” Kael said, voice rough as he kissed down Riven’s neck, sucking hard enough to leave another mark. “Thinking about this every damn time I see you on the court.” Riven groaned and gripped Kael’s hair, tugging him lower. “Yeah? Then f**k me like you mean it. I’m not some soft opponent you can take easy.” Kael grabbed the lube from his bag without pulling away. He slicked his fingers quickly, then pushed Riven’s legs apart. One finger circled, teased, then slid in slowly. Riven’s breath caught, hips twitching. “s**t… more,” Riven demanded, rocking down onto Kael’s hand. “Don’t tease. I can take it.” Kael added a second finger, curling them just right until Riven cursed and grabbed the sheets. “Look at you,” Kael whispered, looking at Riven’s face. “All that cocky attitude on the court, and here you’re falling apart for me.” “Shut up and give me your c**k already,” Riven shot back, but his voice cracked when Kael hit that spot again. He was rock hard, leaking against his stomach, hips moving like he couldn’t help it. Kael pulled his fingers out, slicked himself up, and lined up. He pushed in slow at first, inch by inch, groaning at how tight and hot Riven felt around him. “f**k… you feel good.” Riven’s nails dug into Kael’s back. “Move, damn it.” His legs wrapped around Kael’s waist, pulling him deeper. Kael started thrusting harder, finding a rhythm that made the bed creak. Skin slapped against skin. Riven met every thrust, moaning low and dirty. “Harder, Kael. Like you mean it, like you’ve been wanting to own me.” Kael hooked one of Riven’s legs higher and drove in deeper, faster. Sweat slicked their bodies. He stroked Riven’s c**k in time with his thrusts, thumb rubbing over the head. “This is what you need after every loss? Me inside you, making you moan my name?” “Yes…fuck, right there,” Riven gasped. His head tipped back, silver hair messy on the pillow. “Don’t stop. I’m close.” Kael kept pounding into him, leaning down to kiss him messy and deep. Riven came first with a broken groan, spilling hot over Kael’s fist and his own stomach. His body clenched tight around Kael, pulling him over the edge too. Kael buried himself deep and came hard, groaning Riven’s name against his neck. They stayed like that for a minute, breathing heavy, bodies slick but neither of them was done. Riven flipped them suddenly, straddling Kael with a wicked grin. “My turn, golden boy.” He reached back, slicked Kael again, and sank down slowly, taking him all the way in. “God… you’re still so hard.” Kael gripped Riven’s hips, thumbs pressing into muscle. “Ride me then. Show me what that flashy style can do off the court.” Riven started moving, rolling his hips in deep, dirty circles before bouncing harder. His hands braced on Kael’s chest, fingers digging in. “Like this? You like feeling me take you?” He leaned down, biting Kael’s collarbone while grinding down. “Been dreaming about this. You are under me, losing that perfect control.” Kael thrust up to meet him, one hand stroking Riven’s c**k again. “Keep talking like that and I won’t last.” The sight of Riven above him; muscles flexing, face flushed, c**k leaking was almost too much. They switched again after a while, Kael flipping Riven onto his stomach. He pulled Riven’s hips up and slid back in from behind, f*****g him deep and steady. Riven pushed back, moaning into the pillow. “Yeah… just like that. Fill me up.” Kael reached around, jerking him off while thrusting. “You’re mine now. No more pretending we hate each other.” “Yours,” Riven agreed, voice wrecked. “And you’re mine. f**k…coming again—” Riven spilled over Kael’s hand a second time. Kael followed right after, collapsing over Riven’s back, both of them shaking. They lay there tangled up, catching their breath. Kael pulled out gently and grabbed a towel from the bathroom to clean them up a bit. Then he flopped back down, pulling Riven against his chest. The room smelled like sweat and s*x, but it felt right. “Three years of fighting,” Kael said quietly, running fingers through Riven’s damp hair. “All because we were too stubborn to admit this.” Riven chuckled softly, tracing a finger over the marks he’d left on Kael’s chest. “Yeah. Stupid, huh? But I don’t regret any of it now.” He looked up, amber eyes softer than Kael had ever seen. “Next season’s gonna be weird, still gonna kick your ass on the court.” Kael smirked and kissed his forehead. “Try it. I’ll still beat you but after the games… this…us. Deal?” “Deal.” Riven kissed him slow and easy this time, no rush. “No more rivals in this room just us.” They stayed wrapped up like that, talking low about old games, stupid interviews, and what came next. The championship trophy didn’t matter anymore. What mattered was the heat between them finally set free.
