We stroll toward the lift. "Did you likewise want to punch the grin off his face?" Albert inquires. "No." It's the first run through Albert and I have addressed each other since stepping out of the train station. I press the guest pass across my shirt, ensuring it sticks a few taps. "However, a debt of gratitude is in order for getting us in here. I would've never played the Decker card myself." "Don't sweat it. We possess zero energy for could've-would've-should've," Albert says. I press the lift button. "I'm sorry I didn't participate on the party vehicle." "I needn't bother with an expression of remorse. In case you're fine with your choice, that is on you." He leaves the lift and toward the flight of stairs. "I'm not cool with us riding the lift, however, so how about we do this."
