Ceiling Hooks
For nearly two weeks, Jim busied himself fitting special rings and hooks in the ceilings of all rooms where they might end up using other toys and restraint devices. He was careful about two things: first, he made sure that the hardware items looked like they belonged in the room and had some function. This was easy enough in some areas and in other rooms it required some ingenuity to place ceiling hardware in such a way that a body or two could be safely suspended from it but that when not in use for that purpose, it was apparently used for some other practical function.
Second, he had to make sure that the hardware was sturdy enough and connected to a major internal structural member so that no matter how much weight was attached, it would remain in place
