Sarah tried her best to remain calm, given the situation she has found herself in. "My name is Sarah, I'm from the outside world. I've come looking for a rear flower and got lost. I mean no harm, I am peaceful."
The man looks at her questionably, as if everything she said was a lie. "Tell me, Sarah, if that is in fact your name, what is something about our tribe most outsiders wouldn't know. The last outsider who came to us assured us few who knew nothing of us would travel to this area of the mountains."
Sarah thought for a moment, which was difficult to do hanging upside down. "Unlike the other, smaller tribes still left in the US, your tribe has a taste for predators, such as black bears and Bob cats"
The man scoffs. "Not good enough. I need something deeper than that."
Sarah was confused and afraid. Why was he freaking out so much about her possible being a traitor? "I don't understand, why do you think I'm a traitor? Your tribe is known for being extremely loyal. You've never had anyone turn on the tribe."
The one asking the questions replied, "Exactly, we are the last wild tribe in the US, now tell us something more specific or we will be forced to off you."
Sarah trust to think back to everything Dr.Kindly had taught her of the Tribe. She thinks she remembers the leaders name, she wasn't positive, but it was the only hope she had. "Your leader! His name is Jax! Oh please don't kill me!"
The interrogator's eyes widen. "Alright then." He gestures to someone and they go to cut the rope wile four others hold Sarah and carefully get her back on her feet. " I guess you are quite the educated outsider. Alright, you can follow us home." They then all start trekking back to their home.
As they walk the man asks Sarah, "Now forgive me, but I must ask, how did you find this place? It hasn't been properly mapped out by outsiders yet."
Sarah sighed and shook her head. "I fell down a cliff, and my map ended up in a pond." She knew how stupid she sounded.
"Ah" he responded. "So you lost track and just wandered? You do realize you're standing about four miles away from the nearest point of mapped areas."
This information really made Sarah feel stupid. "I....Had no clue."
"No no no," the man corrected, "I'm just amazed you walked so far."
This made Sarah smile a little. ", I'm an explorer, it's what I do."
They eventually arrive at the tribes home. they actually are more advanced then one would think, at least in terms of housing. Sarah is both terrified and in awe.
Basically everyone does a double take when they first see the group returning with Sarah, but they quickly adapt to her presence.
