Chapter 2

The next morning my mom knocked on the door to wake me up "honey are you awake?" As she asked, I quickly stood up and wake Rija at my side quickly "hide!" I whispered. She simply lurked herself underneath the bed so my mom won't see her. I opened up the door and greet my mom "good morning mommy!" I said.

"Are you ready for your enrollment" she replied.

"Umm, where?" 

"On a private school near us" 

But how about Rija? "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine here, just act as nothing happened" she whispered on my mind again. "Will mom hear you?" As I asked through my mind. "Trust me" she answered.

"Mom, will I have a lot of good friends there?" I asked my mom with harmonized head.

"Sure honey" she softly whispered with a gorgeous smile then she walked down and went to the kitchen.

"Come on Chloe you need to eat!" She annexed shouting at me.

I'm spluttering if I will go back to my room for Rija or what?

"Hey, Chloe doesn't think a lot I'm fine, go down there and eat, and get me some food too" as she chuckled. So you were hungry now huh? I simply went down wearing my simple smile.

"Good morning dad!" Great my dad with a good mood but fake, is one of the easiest things I've ever done.

"Oh good morning Chloe, sit here we're going to have a good time, this will be the best enrollment ever!" As he said with a good mood and weird clown act too so I chuckled. This moment changed my entire mood as well.

I sat at the chair on the left side of the table and my mom sat at my front, while my dad? He just sat at my side at the corner of the table.

Where I'm sitting I can see the door of the kitchen so when it's open I can see what's outside there. I suddenly saw Rija coming down from the stairs as my eyes got wider.

"What the f*ck is she doing?! What if they saw her?!" As my mind speak.

She proceed to walk until she arrived at my side and sat on the chair next to me. I nervously looked at her and whispered "what the heck are you doing?!" With puckish eyebrows.

"Is there something wrong Chloe?" My mom confusedly asked.

"Nothing mom!" As I nervously replied.

My mom looked at my dad and my dad looked at her back like they are asking about using their eyes af. 

"Don't worry Chloe they won't see me after all, act like I'm not talking to you!" Rija said.

How could I talk to her without literally talking!?

"Just think about what you're going to say!" She replied. 

"So you can read my mind?" I asked her through my mind too.

"Yeah did you forget?" She replied.

"Oh sorry" as I replied.

My mom slightly tapped the table to knock me out. 

"Hey, Chloe are you nervous about your enrollment?!" As she questioned me.

"Y~yeah, but I'll be fine mom don't worry" I acted up.

I finished my food to doll up myself for my enrollment, so I returned to my room to change my clothes.

Rija gasped when we've already escaped from our parents "hays, I want to be with you for a day but you need to go to school every weekdays!" She complained.

So I gasped too "they can't see you right? But how?" I questioned her.

"I'm a ghost Chloe, we're twins and I'm older than you for a minute, when we were only five years old our parents leave us alone with our uncle for work, and he once said...." She stopped speaking when we both heard my dad calling me because our car was ready and we need to go.

On our way to school, I got startled when I saw Rija at my side sitting inside the car although I left her at home all alone.

"I also don't want to leave you, I have a lot of questions" I started a conversation using my mind and acting up like normal.

"I wanna go with you to make sure you're safe" she replied.

"Continue the story Rija" 

"You can't focus yourself at school if you're going to think about the past" she answered.

"But..." The car stopped so I stopped speaking too. It seemed like we're here so I need to get ready.

Yeah, she's a ghost so I saw her outside the car in front of a boy who I encountered last time. He's Kyle, right? I see how happy is Rija, does she like him? I chuckled thinking about it they were so cute like a childhood crush.

"Hey, Chloe come out!" She said.

"Oh yeah, I remembered" I need to get ready so when I come out I exhaled so deep.

Kyle stepped to get to me, he bend himself and waved his hand like a cute handsome friend.

"Hi, good morning," he said with a very nice mood that can suit the beautiful weather this day, he's so handsome but I think Rija likes him, I don't want this to be the start of our fight once.

"G~good morning too" as I waved my hand and answered.

Rija started to scorn whereby she's jealous. As I discovered I need to stay away from him.

My enrollment succeed and that's why in this school I need to study but I don't know if this is a misfortune where when Kyle is my classmate. My teacher assigned me to sit at the back because I'm a new enrollee.

After a week at my school I'm still so quiet I already think this is a bad idea to study here as my classmates always talk about me but they're not talking to me like I'm others. I wanna make friends I miss Rija every day I went to school. She's the only one who's talking to me every day twenty-four seven if I'm not here.

The school bell rang so it means we're done at class, it's lunchtime so I cleaned up my books and notes then Rija suddenly appeared at my front with a face of disapproval. I asked if she's ok but she didn't answer and walked out.

What the heck happened to her, is she fine? I stand up and get my bag then go outside of my classroom, stepping from my chair I felt that my classmates are staring at me while talking to others, it's just like there's a bad story about me until I reach the door. I stopped stepping and looked at my back reaching the doorknob but then I opened it's Kyle shocked me, he's standing there tall what the f...

Rija is standing at Kyle's back too like she's so mad at me, why? Did I do something wrong? As I asked myself.

"Maybe" Rija replied.

"Why?" I asked with a confused face.

"Hey, Chloe!" Kyle waved his hand to my face.

"Yes?.. umm excuse me I need to go," I said and thought that I escaped at him but...

He did stop me by holding my hand and pulling me back to him so I got shocked until I inclined to the wall. He hold my left hand by one hand and put his other hand at the side of me. He slowly leans on me, and lean closer and closer but he stopped.

"I simply like you" he whispered.

My world seemed to stop, he left me dull brained. I promised Rija, I promised her that Kyle is only for her. I need to breathe.

"Hey!" As Rija shouted with a shruggie pose.

I quickly walked to the women's comfort room and breathe out so deep.

"I heard it," rija said. She smothered the side of the sink like she's bursting into anger.

"Are you jealous?!" I said then she answered "that should be me! If I'm not dead it's me! He must love me!" "Rija relax I don't like him ok?" I replied.

The door opened.

"Looks like we have a weirdo here" my classmate entered talking to me like she's a school president.

I can't speak cuz I think she heard me talking to Rija, I bet she can't hear Rija talking so I simply walked out with my head bowed.

That girl pulled my hair into her and it hurts. Her friend kicked my leg and I got sprained.

"Ohh a weak little chick," she said.

"I'm Sabrina, nice to meet you dumb," she said with repulsing chuckle.

"Looks like she really is dumb," her friend said.

"Hey, cute little dummy are you ok?" Sabrina asked me holding my hair and forcing me to speak.

"Get out of there Chloe! Don't let her hurt you!" Rija shouted.

I can't get off and I don't want to speak. My dad once said I must not quarrel. My leg hurt I think I can't walk.

Sabrina slapped me so hard causes my tears fell and blood come out of my mouth. I shouted crying I'm so injured this is enough. Did I do something wrong?. I gotta go, I just want to go.

Sabrina gets slipped as I see it's because of Rija. That moment I ran out fast passing at Kyle's front while crying. I ran faster with my injured leg.

I got out of the school and stopped at the back of the pole, no one is with me I quietly burst out and cry.

"What did I do to make her mad like that?!" As I yelled.

"I'm sorry Chloe I didn't help you," Riha said with tears.

"Why are you crying?" I asked.

"I didn't help you!" She answered as she hugged me "I'm sorry" She said annex.

"It's ok, I'm fine, I'll be fine it's just a little hurt right now," I said while crying.

"Will I ask for help?" She inquire and I asked how. She said she don't know and wiped my tears. "I'll help you in any way, I'm your sister"

I hugged her tight.

"Let's call dad," she said but...

"We must don't tell this to dad, he might get mad" I replied.

"But Chloe we have to," she said annex.

She holds my hand and closed her eyes, she got lightened bright like a sun makes me close my eyes because of the dazzling shine. That shine fades slowly and I felt something is entering my body and my body accepted it so fast like it's a part of me that my body needs.

Until that shine faded so I opened my eyes, Rija is gone. I can't see her everywhere, I need her more today why would she leave me?! I started crying a lot more harder as I realized that she left me alone. What about me? I need her, I want to be with her she's my sister, she must not let go!.

"I need to go, there are only two ways I know, I must get out of here, I bet I can't. I can't walk straight and go home.

I need to stand up!

I need to learn how to. Like what my mom said 'when things are getting so though, then never give up and I should not. I must not give up, no one is with me this time, I need to stand.

M~maybe god gives me this exploratory to learn.

I need to go, I need to..."

This is how I cheer my self I need to escape so I slowly tried to stand. Slowly and more slowly.

"I can do this!" And I continued again although it hurts so much.

"Chloe!" I heard kyle calling me. I saw him so exhausted and done running.

"What happened?!" He asked and gently carry me.
