Felicity POV.
Suddenly, I heard a loud noise coming from another part of the factory. I guessed that Alpha Zander's henchmen had found something. They all ran in that direction, leaving me alone.
I waited a few moments before daring to peek out of my hiding spot. Thankfully, the coast was clear. I guessed that whatever they found had diverted their attention.
I breathed a sigh of relief as I hugged my baby close to me. We are safe, for now. But I knew we had to keep moving and stay one step ahead of Alpha Zander and his henchmen.
"We have to keep going, baby," I whispered to my son. "We can't let them catch us."
I gently placed my baby back in his makeshift carrier and began to make my way out of the factory. With every step I took, I knew we were one step closer to freedom.
