Kristie's POV:
I couldn't believe it. It couldn't be possible. This horse wasn't just any horse, he was a fire horse. He is mine.
"Do you know what they are?" I asked Blaze.
"Yes, they are wolves, but I know you are destined to become one as well. I will always serve no matter what." Blaze replied in my mind. That put me at ease. I wasn't sure how he was going to react if he didn't know what they were. But then again, he is a mythical being just like Caleb and Jasper. He had to know what they were anyways, he has been around for a very long time anyways.
"Well, what should we do now?" Becca asked.
"I think we should go back and see if the trailer is here. I really couldn't make you guys pay for him since he is literally meant for you. It wouldn't feel right." Cindy said. I couldn't help the smile that escaped my lips and Blaze and I trotted back to the farm, everyone else following behind us.
We arrived back at the barn as the trailer was pulling in. Jacob and Desi stepped out and walked to the back of the trailer. I hoped off Blaze and led him to the trailer as Caleb and Jasper went to them and explained everything that happened. I could tell by their expression they were pretty shocked by the news but they seemed excited. I looked at Caleb who simply smiled at me as I led Blaze up the ramp.
"We will be in our new home soon. It is just as new to you as it is to me. We will take this on together." I said to him. Blaze simply shook his head up and down, knowing I didn't need a response. He tilted his head into my chest and I gave him a hug.
"I will see you when we get there." I walked out, making sure the door was nice and secure before I turned and faced everyone.
"Well, it seems you found the perfect horse princess." Jacob said laughing. Desi playfully swatted at his arm and walked over to me.
"I'm happy you found the right one. Everyone back home is so excited for all of you to get back. They can't wait to celebrate their Luna and Beta." Desi said cheerfully.
"I just can't believe I found a horse, and he's a fire horse for that matter. It's just so surreal. I don't understand everything still, but I think this is going to help me out alot." I responded.
Calebs POV:
All of this is too crazy. I know Selene said Kristie was special, that both of them were. I don't know how to comprehend all of this, but I will try to take it as best as I can. Kristie is so happy and I don't think she has felt this way in a while.
"Well, he is all ready to go, are you?" I asked Kristie.
"I'm ready if Becca is." She replied.
"HELL YEAH! LETS GO!" Becca yelled.
Jasper and I looked at each other and laughed. I grabbed Kristie's hand and started to lead her to the truck, but she stopped dead in her tracks.
"I need to ride with Blaze, he isn't comfortable alone back there." Kristie said.
"Did he tell you that?" I asked.
"He didn't have to. I can feel how uneasy he is." She said calmly and went to the trailer. I went with her and asked Jasper to close the back for us. I heard the door lock and then Jasper started the truck. Kristie was stroking Blazes neck to help keep him calm and we were off. It was a couple hour drive to Georgia and I was a nervous wreck.
"Is everything ready to go for them at home?" I asked Jacob through the mindlink.
"Yes, everything is good to go. Only thing we didn't touch was you and Jaspers room. That is your business."
"Well, thankfully my room was pretty organized, but I can't say the same for Jasper."
"Desi can keep them company while the rooms get organized."
"Kristie is going to be too occupied with Blaze when we get home so I think we will be okay."
I cut off the link and looked back at Kristie. She had fallen asleep leaning against Blaze and he was leaning his head into her chest to help her stay balanced. They were truly meant for each other. They had a bond and I knew no one could break that now.
Jaspers POV:
We had been driving for almost two hours when I saw Becca start to shake. Her eyes hazed over then she screamed. I immediately pulled the car over.
"Bec, whats wrong? Baby, talk to me." I said. Her eyes were still hazed over and she was staring straight out of the window. I jumped out and got Kristie and Caleb out of the back of the trailer. Kristie ran to Beccas side of the truck and opened the door.
"Bambi, what's wrong? What's going on?" Kristie asked.
"BECCA!" Kristie screamed and Becca came back.
"Jasper, guys, oh my god." Becca was trembling when she was speaking.
"What just happened?" Caleb asked.
"I think I was lucid dreaming? We were still going home but there were wolves and everyone was fighting. I don't know what happened. It was so real, almost too real." Becca replied.
"No, you weren't daydreaming babe." Jasper said.
"You saw the future. And what you saw is going to happen. We aren't that far from home, and those wolves you were talking about sound like rogues." Caleb chimed in.
"I'm arranging to a few fighters and others to meet us. Whatever is coming our way, we will be ready." Caleb said.
Kristie and Becca were holding each others hands, both of them looked terrified with what was going to happen, but we were not going to let anything happen to them. It is a time like this, when I wish we would of changed them already. They would be able to handle themselves for the most part, but now we are going to be focused on them. Maybe Blaze could help and take them away. He is faster then any wolf, even an Alpha.
"Kristie and Becca, you two are going to ride in the trailer with Blaze in case you two need to go. He is faster then any of us and he can take you to our territory. I promise we will meet you there if it comes to that. I promise." Caleb said to Kristie as she started to cry. I grabbed Becca and pulled her into my chest.
"It will be okay baby, I promise. I will come back to you if you have to leave. Blaze will protect you. Both of you." I said as I kissed her forehead. Becca cupped my cheeks and pulled me in for a kiss. It was full of passion and love and it felt like she was almost saying goodbye and that hurt. I looked over and Caleb and Kristie were in a full blown makeout session like they were going to war. I knew they loved each other, I'm happy we both have something to live for now.
"Alright girls, go load up and we will hopefully NOT see you until we get to the pack house. Everyone be safe and keep your head on straight. We will get through this." Caleb said. The girls went in the trailer and Caleb locked the door.
"We will be right up here and if yall need us, just link and we will stop. I love you Becca." I said.
"I love you too Jasper, please be careful." Becca replied.
"I love you so much, please be safe." I heard Kristie whisper to Caleb and he gave her a kiss.
"I love you too my queen. I will be back with you soon."
We got back in the truck and started back on our journey home. My number one fighter Draco had linked me and said he and his men were in place. We would be coming up on them in a few minutes and they would follow us the rest of the way in their wolf forms. I knew we past them when I smelled Dracos scent and a sigh of relief escaped my lips.
It was short lived when we came up over a hill and there were atleast fifteen wolves standing in the road. We came screaching to stop and I could hear the girls start to worry. I quickly linked Becca to keep her and Kristie quiet and to keep Blaze as calm as possible. I knew this wasn't going to end well.
Calebs POV:
Jasper looked at me and nodded. We both got out of the car and I went to the back and unlocked the trailer while going unnoticed.
"What do you want? Why are you trespassing? You know what happens to rogues on this land." I said using my Alpha tone. They all backed off except one. I could tell he was an Alpha as well, probably kicked out of his pack.
"We only want the girls. We know you have them." The rogue said smiling.
"Those girls are our mates and we don't have them." Jasper said moving closer. I put my arm up to stop him from going any further.
"I'm sorry, but neither of them are going with you. I wouldn't tell you where they are if my life literally depended on it." Caleb responded.
"Fine, have it your way." The rogue laughed and waved his hand. I heard the trailer door swing open and my heart dropped. They knew exactly where they were, but I don't think they knew about Blaze. He would be the way they survived.
"There is only one girl in here. We have to find the other! The boss will not be happy." The rogue said as he pulled Becca out. Where did Kristie and Blaze go? Why wasn't Becca fighting back. Did these girls actually figure out their own plan knowing ours would fail? As I spoke to myself, I heard Kristie speaking.
"Trust us, leave."
"Come on Jasper, lets go." I said, not actually believing the words left my mouth. Jasper looked at me like I was crazy.
"Thats right mutt, go on back to where you came from. Don't worry about your little mate. I'll find her and take real good care of her." He laughed at the last comment and it took everything I had not to fight him then and there.
As Jasper and I approached the truck, I grabbed Jaspers arm and linked him.
"The girls have a plan. I wouldn't do that to them, trust me."
"I knew you were up to something, but I didn't think it would come from them."
When we were at truck, we stopped and turned around.
"Get ready to grab Becca and go. Get in the truck and leave. I can handle them."
"Kristie, no. You can't do that. You will get killed." I said.
"I told you to trust me. Now get her when you see me and go. I will be right behind you. Do not fight me on this Caleb."
She cut the link off and I was left waiting to see what she had planned. The rogue that was standing over Becca went to grab her arm and take her when I heard hooves running through the woods. All of the rogues stopped what they were doing and anticipated.
"What is that boss?" One of the rogues said.
"I don't like how this sounds." Another one said.
"Everyone stand their ground." The head rogue replied.
The sound of hooves got louder and we could hear Blazes neighs of anger rattling through the trees and leaves. He was leaving a wake of destruction in his path. Kristie and him were angry and I could see the light getting brighter as it got closer. Blaze was in full flame and Kristie's anger was fueling it. He jumped through the opening and immediately knocked three rogues over, including the one that was holding Becca. Jasper grabbed her quickly and we got in the truck. As we sped off, I looked behind me and watched as Kristie and Blaze kicked and burned every one of the rogues to death. Only two survived and they ran as fast as they could back to wherever they came from.
They quickly caught up to us and the flames started to settle. I could tell Kristie was proud. Not of what just happened, but what her and Blaze were capable of. They protected all of us. Blaze kept his promise.
We kept driving, Blaze and Kristie trotting right beside the truck. I saw the gate come into view and we had finally made it home.
