Somehow in his haste to fix things he had made a muck of things “he didn’t want her?” Like hell he didn’t. he was hard as hell, his dreams were filled with a blonde duchess, he fantasized about her at every hour of the day, he was in b****y pain because he had gone weeks with a b***r, he burned for her and she sat pretty in her pink dinner frock and accused him of f*****g other women from across the table, he didn’t even see other women.

He paced his room endlessly and strolled towards the connecting door, when he tried the handle and it didn’t budge he wanted to curse and scream down the door but he did none of that cause he meant it when he said he wouldn’t beg on his knees. He hadn’t stooped so low. He knew he wouldn’t get much sleep tonight as usual so he might as well get busy.
