The truth about the Devenity book series is it was always meant to have 3 parts, what wasn't meant was to have it poorly written, though I currently have 6 books underneath my belt (2 of which were written when I was around 14) I am still an amateurish author who exceeds well in the plot but not execution, so many things pass me by before I can fully grasp them and that's exactly what happened with book 2, points were missed, things were repetitive and there wasn't any character growth whatsoever, and most of these points I got from reading your comments.
