I felt a wave of emotion wash over me. The memories of my father, the unresolved grief, and the constant reminder of his loss were overwhelming. Unable to hold back any longer, I felt tears welling up in my eyes. The fresh air did little to calm my turbulent emotions. I wandered aimlessly, my mind consumed by thoughts of my father. Tears streamed down my face as I walked, the pain of his loss feeling as raw as the day it happened.
