At the Hlongwane Household In Naturena. Nobantu Hlongwane °°°°°°°°°° °°°°°°°°°°°°°° Sitting at the window, looking at the beautiful neighbourhood view. Well losing my friend, Siya, has made me realize that I have to take life seriously. My phone beeps, I look at it and it's my mother. I answered it. "Hi mom" I blunty said. "What's wrong with you? You know what, don't answer it." she said excitedly. "Mom what's going on, why are you calling me? Is Nkanyiso coming back from the hospital?" I asked. "You clearly miss your brother, right." she said. Honestly, I really miss him. "Of cause I do, Where's Enzo?" I asked. "Why do you ask me of that inconsiderate brother of yours?" She asked and I rolled my eyes. "Just like you said, he's my brother." I said. "But you don't even share a mother. She said. Doesn't she know that family isn't just about blood? "We'll talk about this another time, Nobantu. Now, please tell Betty to tell the chef that he must prepare something scrumptious for supper, cause my precious son is coming back and also tell her that she must dust up the place thoroughly, I don't want my son in a health hazardous place.Love you nana, Bye." Like that she hung up. she can be dramatic at times. I stood up from the ottoman and Imexited the bedroom. I went down the staircase and went to the kitchen. Betty was wiping the microwave. "Hey Betty, how are you?" I asked. "I'm okay madam. Is there anything I could help with?" she asked. "Yes, my mother asked me to inform you that my brother, Nkanyiso is getting discharged from the hospital. He will be staying with us for a while." I said. "Oh-okay so what should I specifically do?" she asked. " Just tell the chef to prepare something scrumptious for supper and also dust the house thoroughly." "Okay madam, I shall do so." I walked out of the kitchen and I waddle on to the garden. Zamora Dhlamini °°°°°°°°°° °°°°°°°°°°° Statics, Facts, Research and Spams. It's all I've been going through, I found things he might like to see. She's not much and has no record of any bad history at all. I gathered all the information that i got into the files and I took my laptop and exited my apartment. I went to the basement parking lot and I put the box of files and my laptop bag in the trunk, before I close it. I entered the car and drove out the apartment building. I get a phone call from Enzo, I answer the call. "Hey, what's up?" I asked. "It's mom, she wants Nkanyiso back home." he said. "Is your mother fine in her head, the dude is still on oxygen supply, technically he can't breathe on his own." I said. "You think I didn't tell her that. I told her , but What Fikile wants Fikile must get." He said. "Your mother can be a b***h some times."I chuckled. "She has always been one."He said. "Ouch! I'll go with what you said. So I'll try to talk to Your bro then, see you later or tomorrow." I said. "Okay, see you tomorrow." He said. "Surecase." I said. Later that night. Nkanyiso Hlongwane °°°°°°°°°°°° °°°°°°°°°°°°°° It feels so good to be out of oxygen support, Zamora might be coming here, because she hasn't called back to tell me the results of her search. I asked her yesterday and she said she'll see what she finds. I'm reading a book Enzo got for me, it helps forget about the boredom I get. The nurse told me that Dr Mahlangu was coming in tonight. I guess her shift starts at night. I continued reading the book, but stopped when I heard a voice coming closer to my ward. A as the voices came near, there was one I heard and it sounded so angelic. The door opened and I closed my book. I glared at a beautiful lady wearing a lab coat, her braids tied up like a donut, caramel skin, bright smile that shows her dimples and her shortness. She's amazing. She's holding a clipboard and a pen, walking beside her is a nurse who's just a few feet taller than her. She walks closer to the bed and stops right beside it. "Good Evening Mr Hlongwane, I am Dr Mahlangu. It's a pleasure to meet you." She starts. "It's also a pleasure to meet the famous life-saving Dr G. Mahlangu. I said smiling at her. "Thank you. Well I see you are healing faster than thought. Lasting in Oxygen supply for oneday was enough for you." She said. "It totally was tiring not to be able to breathe on my own." I said. " May I ask, when am I getting discharged, doc?" I asked. "Let's wait for at least two more days then we can talk about you going home." She said and I smiled at her. "Well, doc you can join me during your lunch time. I can take your boredom away." I said. "That's if you want to get me fired, but I don't see no harm in it." she said while rolling her eyes. "Note that you got to bring food for two." I said and she laughed. The nurse seemed not interested in our conversation, it's good, because it doesn't concern her anyways."Dr Mahlangu I should go now, my lunch break is a few minutes." said the nurse. "Oh yeah. You can go now. See you later, okay." Said Dr G and the nurse walked out the door. "So doc, your lunch break is coming close?" I asked. "Yeah." she said."Don't worry I'll get food for 'two'. See you in a few." She said and she walked out. Oh God, I think I'm in love. TF, that line is for teenagers. ( Seriously laughing at myself.) My phone beeps and I check it. It's Zamora. "What's up, Zee?" I asked. "I've got exactly what you've asked for." She said. "Spill it." I bluntly said. "Well she's clean, no bad history at all. She studied medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand in Braamfontein , Johannesburg. She has a sister named Naomiand a cousin named Shala. Shala stays in Cape Town. They stay there in Lenasia with their mother Fundile Mahlangu. Their fahter died when they where kids and their mother raised them. Her full name is Genesis Nandile Mahlangu and she is turning 28 on the 16th of June. Thats all I have and I hope it's enough because I want to rest now. The shipment is happening tomorrow, by then we will make Svetlana happy and we will be free of a war." She said. "Okay thanks Zamo. I'll talk to you later." I said. "Dawg, your mom thought you were getting out today." She said. "Well she will have to wait for two days, so Toodles" I said and she hung up. In a few minutes Genesis enters the ward carrying a plastic with the takeaways she bought at the hospital cafeteria. We are going to eat from inside the takeouts. She opens the mini-table thats attached to the bed. She places one take away box from inside the plastic, a plastic fork and knife and serviettes. She then places hers on the pedestal and does the same. "Why haven't you started eating Mr Hlongwane?" She asked. "Why are you so beautiful, My lady?" I asked back and she smiled. "I don't know why, but all I know is that I eat healthy and I don't drink alcohol, at all." She said. "Seriously, you dont drink nor even smoke?" I asked and she nodded. "Wow that's why you this beautiful." She smiles again. "Can we please eat, I'm really hungry right now." She said and I laughed. "What in the world, Okay let's eat. Oh, by the way I'm Nkanyiso, Nkanyiso Hlongwane." I said. "I already know who you are, Mr Hlongwane. I go through my patient's file, before I attend to them, but it's nice to meet you. I'm Genesis Mahlangu." She said and I chuckled. "Don't you have a middle name perhaps?" I asked innocetly. "Yeah, I do. Nandile, I know it's weird and..." "Beautiful. It sounds beautiful to me." I cut her short. "Thanks. So now, can we eat." she said. "Okay, okay. Let's eat my lady." I said with a Dracula like. accent and she laughed. "Would you stop it and be seroiusly serious for once." She said while laughing. "Sorry for being cocky ." I said. "Whatever."She said. "Huh! Okay." By Herstoryslit•♡ Edited by Miss X•☆
