I roll my eyes at the door, walking towards the bathroom to shower and get ready for my day.
Soon my assistant makes it to the house as I decide to work from home today.
"Welcome back mam," she says her eyes looking around the house in wonder, as I've never invited her to my home before.
"What are the updates?" I turn to her slightly, nibbling on the fruits Thekma placed in front of me earlier.
"Your father is calling for a stakeholder meeting in a month, you are expected to provide the company report-" she goes on and on while my kind settles elsewhere.
What is wrong with Dante anyway? He doesn't love me so why act so cold? Because I didn't conform to his lies? Because I caught him while cheating on me consistently.
