Epilogue
A year.
It’s been a full year since the incident. Dennis and his g**g were immediately arrested and taken to prison. It was apparently Sam who told the police of Dennis' plans. He tried getting to the police quicker but Dennis got suspicious of him. He managed to get away from them and he ran to the police station.
He told them everything and by everything, I mean everything. He told them of what he did to me. They arrested him and investigated, and it proved that he was involved. He was sentenced to 7 years.
I go and visit him and Dad. I've moved on, doesn't mean I will ever forgive them fully, but I still have a soft spot for them. Always.
I've just always learned that it's better to forgive, forget and move on. Why hold a grudge when it won't do anything to help you. All i
