When Jordan came into the kitchen, he had a weird look on his face, but it disappeared as soon as I placed an omelet and a stack of bacon in front of him, to the disappointment of Darren and Cal (how much can those two eat?). He burrowed into the food, like the hungry wolf he was. I eyed the others. They still seemed eager to eat, but they'd already consumed a staggering amount of bacon and eggs. I ate that much when I first came here, too, after years of eating a diet of porridge, potatoes, and sour vegetables (mostly cabbage).
