Mr. Bamber took me on a tour of the facilities after we finished the cookies. He kept talking about the project, and the people here, burying me under a barrage of information, while I nodded quietly, filtering what he said for usefulness. Not much of it was. The firm had six people on staff (now seven): two alchemists, an accountant, the young secretaryeceptionist, a light mage, and Mr. Bamber. Everybody except Mr. Bamber shared a big room with large windows as a common office. The building also had a kitchenette, a greenhouse in the backyard, a lab in the basement, and a storage room with a safe where the secret documents were kept.
