She started humming the lyrics and tune into her guitar. It was her favourite "Arjit singh's" song. Batein ye kabhi na tu bhul na... Koi Teri khatir hai jee raha... Jae Tu kahin bhi ye sochna.... Koi tere khatir hai jee raha... Tu jahan jae mehfooz ho... Dil mera mange bas ye dua... (Never forget these things That someone is living for you Wherever you go remember That somebody's living for you May you be safe wherever you go This is the only wish of my heart wants) Humdurd bhi hai, humdum bhi hai Tu sath hai toh zindagi, Tu jo kabhi dur rahe Ya hum se ho jaye ajnabee Tujhse mohabbat karte hai jo Kaise karein ham usko bayaan ( Life is sharing caring friend When you are with me If you're away from me It becomes stranger to me The love I have for you How do I tell you about it.) Jagi bhi hai, royi bhi hai... Aankhen ye raton me meri... Kyun har ghadi mil ke tujhe.. Lag rahi bas Teri kami... Ham to na samjhe tum hi kaho... Kyun tum ko paa ke tum se juda... ( they have been awake and they have cried In the nights, these eyes of mine Why after meeting you, every moment I miss you.. I didn't understand, you only tell me Why even after getting you Am I away from you? ) Batein ye kabhi na tu bhoolna Koi Teri khatir hai----- Dhara was singing the song lost in her thought and miseries. But in a flash she was brought back to the reality when someone snatched the guitar from her. She shot a glance at the person, his nostrils were fuming in anger. His dark brown eyes bored in her's. For a moment everything was unmoved before the loud sound of a crashing thing pierce in her ears. It was Dhruv's guitar. She winced. "Stop this f****** stupid game. Enough now." Adhiraj yelled his eyes fixed on her. "Adhiraj why are you getting hyper. She did what we asked her to do. Why are you overreacting on every little thing. And creating scene." Dhruv's voice laced in anger. "I'm creating scene?" Adhiraj fired back. He slowly stepped up to Dhruv, "Now just get lost from my house." He yelled at him. They all stood there terrified. "Out!!" He shouted. Her heartbeat rapid as if it will bust out of her chest. "Adhiraj it was just a song. Please calm down." Tara tried to calm him. "Okay, I will and I am very calm. Dhruv can you both please leave from here. I'm not feeling well. So let's meet at office tomorrow." He exclaimed rubbing his forehead and Dhruv shrugged off. They both started to the door. When Dhara stopped them in their mid way. "I'm sorry Dhruv for everything. It happened because of me. Because of me you both fought and he shouted on you. Please forgive me." Dhara pleaded, tears down from her cheeks. "Bhabhi it's alright. Don't worry I'm fine. I will not going to take his any word seriously. You know he is a very dumb man. He's just stressed that's why he reacted in such way." He said cupping her face and she started sobbing. "Dhara now don't cry. It's okay." Tara wiped her tears and embraced her in a warm hug. "Now go, the maid is searching for you." She clasped her shoulder gently and they bid her goodbye. Dhara turn on her heels, a loud gasp escaped from her lips. He was standing behind her, she didn't even feel his presence. "What was he doing here? Did he heard our conversation?" She wondered. She Ignored him and walked up to kitchen. The maid was not there. She waited for him to come in but in a vain. She took out the packet of mushrooms from the fridge and tried to find parsley packet, which she had kept yesterday. She tried to divert her mind from the incident but failed in attempts. She ran up to the sink and turned on the faucet. She splashed water on her face but nothing worked, tears glided down her eyes. She held edge of the sink tight, her eyes puffed. She quickly wiped off her tears when she heard footsteps behind her. The banged of the door startled her. She turned to look and there he was standing few feet away from her fuming in anger. He started taking fast steps towards her and her heartbeat shrink. Her hands freeze as she could feel sweat on her palms and shiver ran down her spine and her mind went at the thought of his outcome. He stopped in front of her and didn't making an eye contact. She started moving from his side but he grab her wrist. His gripped tighten. She struggled for release her tiny wrist from his large hand but all in vain. "Where do you think you are going?" He asked her. His husky voice was now laced in anger. She gulped the hard lump and clear her throat. "It's hurting.." She finally let out a helpless whisper and he loosen his grip on my wrist. She looked at the bruises on her wrist and taking the advantage of the place he left, she rushed towards the door but he caught her by arms tight. He pinned her to the nearest wall and trapped her between the wall and him. "Not so soon.." He breathed in his husky voice near to her ear and shivered ran down on her spine. "Please let me go." Her voice cracked. "Why? You were singing for me. So I should have to give you reward for it. Right?" He smirked. His breath lingered on her neck, she was getting goose bumps Biting her lower lip, she closed her eyes. For the first time he was so close to her. She could feel his gaze on her but didn't budge to open her eyes. He pulled her closet to him. "Listen you bloody gold digger, stay in your limits. Don't try to cross it. Or else I'll not think twice to do anything with you." He glared her by gripping her tight and her eyes widened. She was looking straight into his eyes. "U AND ME WILL NEVER GOING TO BE US. I love sana and I only love her. So drop your all this f****** sweet act. You are only just my f****** slave. Understand.." He shouted with clenching his teeth. But she didn't even able to say anything. Because his last word was repeatedly echoing in her mind and ear. With that he shut the door with a loud bang and went off. She leaned against the wall and sat on the floor, her arms wrapped around herself. "After all these month he was thinking about me as a slave? Till now he love her not me?? Why you can't see how perfect we'd be looked together? What's wrong with me, why can't he just love me back? Will I be alone forever?" She was wondered, her mind and tears was continually rolling down her eyes, red and puffy eyes. Her heart ached with the thought of his words. His every words were like sharp knife on her heart. She sobbed seating on the floor. And someone cleared his throat. "Madam! don't cry, he will know your worth soon." The maid cleared the silence and ruffled her hair gently. He wiped off her tears which now left their traces on her face and stood on her feet. "I wish that wish too." She exclaimed closing her eyes. Feeling little headache she went to her room. Which was separated by his room. They both live in a same home but their room was separated. She did everything to save their relationship. Everyday she woke up just in this hope that today he will going to move on from his past and hold the rope of his present with her and they will make their future better with each others help. But those all hopes were false. She was hoping to satisfy her heart that he will going to change someday. But that day will never come. She was lost in Her thoughts when someone snap their finger in front of her and she came out of her thoughts. "What happened? Again you lost in your world.." Kavish said standing up from the chair. "Drink your coffee. We have to go.." Again he said and she nodded. She drank the coffee which turned cold in one sip and stood up from the chair. "How can you drink that black coffee without sugar. It's so tasteless and bitter." Kavish scrunched his nose as his face wrinkled. "Now, I have a habit of it you know. My life is also just like it.." She said walking to the area of her cabin. And they separated their way. As he worked right side of the first floor and she worked left side of the same floor of the hospital. She entered in her cabin noticed that he was sitting on the chair near to the door. She rolled her eyes and sat on her chair. She checked out the apointment list. And was about to call receptionist but suddenly her pen keeper fell on the floor. Looking at the scattered things he ran up to the table. And started collecting the things from the floor. "Here take this.." He said giving her the pen keeper and she snatched it from his hands. "Th-thank-you----"He said in low voice. "Oh you're welcome.." She smirked at him and rolled her eyes. "So how's my beautiful flower?" Someone said and they looked at him. "I'm fine, you say. How you've been here?" She asked him frowned as he took a step to her. "Well I don't have any wish to come here but this flowers were missing their beauty. So I took them to you. I'm just kidding I was just came to meet papa. So I thought to meet you too." He flirted, giving her the fresh white lily's bouquet. And small smile crept on her lips. "Thanks for the flowers.." she said and took the flowers from him. White lily was her favorite flower. Baba used to bought these flowers for her. But after him kavish was the one who always brings these flowers for her. Rohan was Dr. Mehra's eldest son. He was a very flirt guy. But sweet too. He was her friend. "I don't know why? 90% girls choose their profession as doctor, lawyer or engineering or police. What? I mean can't you girls choose some different profession.." He said admittedly. They were laughing and talking until someone cleared their throat and they looked at him. He was standing by the door folding his hands on his chest and looking at us with his old angry look. "I'm guessing that you are done here.."He said raising his eyebrow. "Who are you? Never seen you before?" Rohan asked him, confused. "Dr. Dhara who is he? Is he your friend or relative? "Rohan asked her and she was about to open her mouth to say something but got cut off by him. "I'm anything for her. It's non of your business Mr. Whatever. Don't try to flirt with her understand. Just get lost from here." He said looking at him with greeting his teeth. "Ok Mr. Angry young man I'm going.." Rohan said looking at him. "Rohan why are you afraid of him? Have a seat." She said ignoring his attitude. "No Dr. Dhara I want my bones and face perfect. That's why I'm going bye.." He said and ran out of the cabin. "Rohan wait!!! Ro.." She called out him but he was gone. Dhara turned to him, clenching her teeth to prevent her frustrations. "What is your problem? This is not the way to greet my guests." She Fired, irritated. "My problem!! My problem is you Dhara. And why on earth you only have guys as your friends. Do you like their company that much? Then come with me I will accompany you too. I'm sure you like my company in every way." Adhiraj battered at her under his clenching teeth. Dhara closed her eyes and inhaled deep to ease her anger. How she wished she could slap him hard so that he will never use such language for her but at last with the thought of people at her work place she tried to be calm. "Keep your bloody mouth shut. You bloody burden of earth. What you know about me? What? Nothing Mr. Singhaniya. So you don't have any rights to poke your nose in my life or in my matter. Understand!" She roared straight looking in his eyes and turned to her table. Moments later Adhiraj walked up to her. From the way he walked up to her, she wondered that maybe he realized what he just said but she was in no mood to listen his any words. "Dhara I.. I'm sorry. I don't know what to took on me.." His voice trailed off. "I just hate sorry's." She snapped at him. There was still time for her shift to get over but at this point with Adhiraj, she didn't wanted to work anymore. Dhara grabbed her bag from the table and walked out off the hospital. She already text kavish what she was doing and he supported her decision. As always he instructed her to wait for him, as he will accompany her to the bus stop. As soon as kavish came they both walked towards the bus stop and Adhiraj followed them. Once they reached at bus stop, they were waiting and until then kavish tried to divert her mind. He tried to start a conversation on any random things. Which instantly goes well as he thought. At ten minutes after the bus stopped in front of them and it took a second for Dhara to stepped in. But before she could proceed her steps suddenly kavish called her and she turn to look at him, confused. "Dhara.." Kavish said softly and she raised her eyebrows questioning. He was standing few feet away from her at the edge of the bench railing. His hands were in his pants pocket and he gave her his assuring yet confused small smile like always. "Yes?" Dhara asked perplexed. "Kuchh nahi (nothing).." He said with a nod and she gave him, her confusing smile. "Jao (go)." He said gesturing her to the bus and she bid her bye. "I don't know why he called me from behind every time." She wondered. And when she asked him about why he called her. Then it only comes back to her unanswered. Sometimes she couldn't know why she got this feeling that he wants to say something more but he choose to zip his lips together. "Such a mysterious boy he is." She shook my head and stepped on the bus. Dhara unlocked the door and stepped In the house. He followed her suit. After freshening up she headed to the kitchen and heated the biryani. Which she bought from the store near to her home and served for herself. Seating on the dining table she started eating her dinner but not alone. He is also having his dinner.
