CHAPTER 14 : [APRIL'S POV ]

I woke up and looked towards the curtains - it was pretty sunny. I put my head back down on the pillow and looked at Joey, his one hand was around my waist and the other was rested on my tummy. I smile at this and look at him - his hair was covering his face so I moved closer to him. I took my hand and moved his hair out of the way , once I did that I looked at him. He looked so content and handsome while sleeping Joey then turned and put his head in my neck. His hands went around my body, I tried looking to see if he was awake but I failed to see. I looked at our position - we were currently laying on the bed and we were half hugging each other . He opened his eyes slowly and kisses my neck , he then removes his hands and now I could see him - I took my hand and moved his hair back. Joey smiles at me " morning beautiful! " I smile back at him " morning handsome! " '' how you slept ? " " um like a baby and how did you sleep ? " '' Like the luckiest man alive mainly because I get to wake up next to you ! " Joey then kisses my neck and his hands go under my top - his warm hands roamed around until it settled on my chest , he then started drawing small circles on my skin - it felt so good !

I got up from the bed and opened the curtains ; I took my towel and entered the bathroom. I brushed my teeth , did my business and entered the shower.
[ JOEY'S POV ]
I was in the bathroom ; I heard the shower go on so I finished up my business, brushed my teeth. I took my clothes off and entered the shower - I look at April , the hot water was sliding off her body , her eyes were closed and her hair was dripping with water. I stared at her a while longer when she suddenly stands against the shower tiles . I moved closer to her until the water was pouring down on us , I slowly placed my lips on her neck and kissed it gently - her hands went around my neck and I put my hands on her thighs and I stroked them . I stopped kissing her neck and looked at her she was looking at me "someone's happy today! " I move away from April and start washing myself I look back at her " any man would be if they had to wake up next to you " she smiles and moves past me " finish up! ''
[ APRIL'S POV ]
I walked over to the walk in closet , I dried myself and put on undergarments I then put on this light blue knee ripped jeans along with this white short sleeve crop top t- shirt front blouse top. I put on some ankle socks and my converse chuck Taylor All - star High Sneaker - Optical white shoes. I blow dried my hair and thereafter French braided it , I didn't apply makeup so I looked at myself in the mirror and thereafter left the bedroom .

I walked in the kitchen and made Joey and I breakfast , I thereafter set the table and waited for him. He came out of the bedroom wearing a navy blue suit and his hair was gelled , I noticed he was wearing a watch and I have to say he looked damn HOT ; he noticed me staring and started smirking . He came over and sat down , I began eating and I noticed him looking at me " what ? " " Oh its nothing ! " I looked at him and he shrugged and started eating.

After we ate I washed our plates out , dried them and packed them away. I grabbed my phone , wallet and put it in my handbag. I walked out of the bedroom and I noticed Joey was on the phone - he then started screaming; I flinched a little and looked at him. He noticed me and walks over to me , he puts his other hand on my chin and he gives me a quick peck on the lips - he pulls away and talks to the person on the phone. He ends the call and looks at me - he puts his hand on my chin and kisses me I kiss him back , he then deepens the kiss and then breaks it off - he looks at me and smiles. " Sorry if I scared you I didn't mean too ! " " everything alright ? " " yeah ! "

We were standing by my car then Joey got another phone call , it then ended and he looked at me " sorry about that , we just very busy! " " I understand " he kisses me on my forehead " I might be late tonight so don't wait up! " I was pretty sad hearing that but I had to understand '' okay then good luck! "

It was around 5 pm and I was still at the art shop , for some reason I couldn't concentrate on my painting. I kept on thinking of Joey , I washed my brushes out and left the art shop.

I reached the apartment and entered - I went to the bedroom and took my clothes off , I entered the bathroom and put water in the bath tub and I put some bubble bath soap in the water. I got in the bath and I absolutely felt relieved and then I closed my eyes .

After I took my bubble bath I got dressed in my pajama's and I dried my hair and left it loose. I entered the kitchen and took out the ingredients for the chicken pasta I was about to make.

It was about 7 pm and the chicken pasta was already made , I decided to make some fudgy cocoa brownies.

I took out the ingredients and mixed them all together I then put the mixture in this baking tray and I put it in the oven.

After I put the oven off I left it inside so it won't get cold ; I took a plate out and dished some chicken pasta for myself. I took a glass of water and went to go sit on the couch , after I ate I washed the dishes.

I then walked over to the library ; I sat on the couch and continued reading the book AMELIA.
[ JOEY'S POV ]
It was 9 pm and I returned back to the apartment , I put my things on the counter and then I walked around looking for April. I noticed her sleeping on the couch in the library I took a blanket and covered her with it - I leaned down and kissed her on her forehead ; I left the library and entered the bathroom.

After I showered and changed , I entered the kitchen and dished up some food for myself , I ate really quickly because I had to get back to my work.
[ APRIL'S POV ]
I heard a noise coming from the kitchen, I got up suddenly and I noticed this blanket on me. I took it off and walked out of the library, I entered the kitchen and I noticed a plate in the sink - that meant Joey was home. I walked over to the oven and opened it ; the wonderful smell of the brownies infiltrated my nostrils. I took 2 brownies out and put them on a plate , I opened the refrigerator and took out the ice cream and I scooped 2 perfect balls of vanilla ice cream and put it on the brownies. I grabbed a teaspoon and took the plate , I walked over to Joey's study and entered it - I noticed Joey typing on his laptop . He noticed me and smiles " hey! " I smile back at him " hi! " I walk over to his desk and walk around it " I made you something " I placed the plate on the side of his desk " you made me brownies ! " " I did ! " " thank you babe ! " " you welcome "

After Joey ate the brownies he closed his laptop and looked at me - he pulls me on his lap and my hands go on his chest. " How was your day ? " "it was okay and how was yours ? '' " hectic ! " " you look tired!" " I'm fine ! " Joey takes a strand of my hair and puts it behind my ear . I was sitting on Joey's lap and we just looked in each others eyes , I suddenly broke the silence " I know what will make you feel better '' "what ? " I jump off Joey's lap '' follow me ! "

I left Joey's study and walked into the bedroom - I turned around and noticed Joey was already in the room " take your top off and lay on your tummy! " he does as told and goes to the bed I enter the bathroom and take massaging oils off the shelf. I walk back in the bedroom and climb slowly on the bed - I then climb on Joey and pour some oil on his back , I massage him gently and I notice Joey starting to relax.

After I massaged him I climbed off him and went and washed my hands .

I enter the bedroom and Joey's top was back on " that was amazing! " " how do you feel now ? " "relaxed!" ''I'm glad to hear that . "
[ JOEY'S POV ]
After April gave me a massage which was exactly what I needed ,I feel more relaxed now . I notice April standing there looking at me " come here ! " she walks over to me and I open my arms , she wraps her arms around me and I do the same to her. After we hugged each other I look at her - she looked really tired; I kiss her on her forehead . " Tell you what - tomorrow we both stay at home ! " " don't you have work to do ? " " I'll work at home ; its just a few things to go through . '' " Okay! " she smiles at me and I smile back - we finished up in the bathroom and then we both got in bed , I put the lights off and then we spooned .

It was 7 in the morning and as promised I was going to stay at home - I woke up and took a shower. I changed in grey sweat pants and a long sleeve top , I put on socks and I didn't really care about my hair. I was dressed more comfy because that's how I felt as I was about to leave the bedroom I notice April entering the bathroom. " Babe don't go anywhere after this we binge watching on movies and series from dusk till dawn . April shook her head and laughed all the way in the bathroom.

I made us some pancakes and I made 2 cups of hot chocolate , yeah I'm aware April needs to eat healthy but today she could eat anything she wants and besides I wanted to drink hot chocolate. I walked back to the bedroom and I notice April wearing this charcoal oversized sweater dress with black ankle socks ; her hair was in a messy bun. I absolutely loved what she was wearing , I took our breakfast and put it on the side - she climbed on the bed and I did the same. I took the remote and switched the TV on " what are we watching ? " " we watching the movie After! " " hmm lets do it then ! " I chuckle at her she was so enthusiastic. I put the movie on and we ate our breakfast while watching , we came to the part where Hardin Scott and Tessa Young meet , I look at April and she was like literally drooling over Hardin " his so HOT! " I raise my eyebrow and look at her and then I look back at the TV. "Oh my goodness he is such a bad boy! " " do you like bad boys ? " " duh I love them! " I look at April and then I look at her dress - I slowly move closer to her and I place my hands on her thighs , I stroke her thighs and then she was like "babe you disturbing me! " this was the very first time she called me babe and it was definitely a turn on. I stopped stroking her thighs and turned her head to look at me " repeat what you said ! " " babe ! " I smirk and instantly kiss her , she kisses me back and then the kiss becomes more passionate. My hands went under her dress and her hands went around my neck - we were getting serious until this guy spoke. April broke the kiss and looks at me and smiles " maybe another time! " I groan and she goes back to watching the movie , we continue watching the movie and I notice April smiling and biting her lip at the same time. She was too cute she then asked me a question " what do you think of Hardin? " " I think his a normal guy!" April then looks at me " dude look at him his not normal! " " his just a guy with tattoos ! " '' no! his more than that" I nod my head and April looks at me pouting " what's wrong ? " she shrugs and looks away.

It was 2 pm and we were watching this series called Teen Wolf - its pretty interesting. We made it through the first few episodes and then April nudges me , I look at her and she looks back at me '' can we order pizza for supper ? '' " yeah we can! "

It was 7 pm and we were eating pizza while watching season 2 of Teen Wolf.

After we ate , April got up from the bed and left the room she came back returning with brownies and ice cream.
[ APRIL'S POV ]
I was eating my brownies with ice cream when I looked at Joey he looked so focused. I finished up eating and put my bowl on the side , I snuggled closer to Joey and I ran my hands up and down his top- he didn't look at me so I kissed him on his cheek and still no response so I stood up and sat on his lap, I made sure to block his view from the TV he then pauses the episode and looks at me. " What's wrong ? " " nothings wrong you were just ignoring me" " you look cute when you pout ! " I roll my eyes at him , I lean forward and kiss him he kisses me back- he soon breaks the kiss and decides to sit upright so he can continue watching; I sigh and cross my arms over my chest. Since Joey was so interested in the series I decided to leave the bedroom , I walked into the gym and put the speaker on ; I lifted my dress up a little and made a knot. The song Dusk till Dawn by Zayn Malik came on - it honestly was the perfect song.

I danced around the gym singing Dusk till Dawn ,my hair was messy but I didn't care how I looked at the moment. The gym door opened but I didn't look I continued dancing .
[ JOEY'S POV ]
I entered the gym room and I look at April - she was singing and dancing not caring a damn about anything. I looked at her dress ; she lifted it a bit up making a knot . I looked at her fair long legs , it looked so ravishing. I walked over to her and put my hands around her waist ; she turns around and looks at me "what?! " " baby you look hot! " " I think I know that ! " I smirk at her she just used sarcasm on me. "Lets go back to the bedroom! " '' nah I'm good here '' she then lifts herself up and wraps her legs around my torso ; she moves her hair out of her face and puts her arms around my neck. I then lean forward and we thereafter kissed - we broke the kiss off and tried calming out breathing. I looked in her eyes and she did the same " I love you so much ! " " I love you too"
