“King wants to see you” Zeke mentions, the minute he walks in. His shoulders are tense, and I'm sure he must have gotten a phone call from my brother's office, where usually the meetings between the brotherhood takes place.
“I'll be on my way” I inform him as I look at Kendra, who's busy in the kitchen.
“Kendra” I called her out, as I grabbed my gun and checked the bullets in it. When I was satisfied, I hid it below my jacket.
But I rarely pulled my gun out. I was good with weapons, but my favorite is the knives.
