Chapter 24(Heartbroken)
Hazel's Point Of View:
She let out a sigh, “No, I can't. Goodbye. My regards to Alexander." She said, immediately walking away.
My nails dug into my palm as I stood, angered.
“s**t!" I mumbled before grabbing my bag and leaving immediately.
I waited in the living room for Alex to return, after I changed into my silk nightgown. He finally arrived home, he didn't even bother sparing me two glances, he just moved along.
I immediately stood, taking slow steps towards him. Who is she?” I asked. He halted, sighing but continued walking away
He didn't really care, did he? He knew the truth and he wasn't willing to let me know. Just what do I even mean to him?
I pulled him back, fighting my tears as I yelled “I said who is she?!".
