He didn't reply to me, he only grabbed his coat from the hanger and left the house, slamming the door. Well, that confirmed his words. I meant nothing to him.
I locked the door and went up the stairs to my room, burying my head in the fluffy sheets while I begged myself not to overthink it. We were only contracted couples, right?
“Oh, finally. You learned your actual worth." I heard a lady's voice. I immediately rose up, only to see the same Mysterious lady who appeared before us after the meal at the restaurant.
