Lamia and Mathias had gone back to Riocht with the triplets and her parents. Rhett was off chasing down leads, trying to track down Jonda. So far no one had the slightest clue where she could have gone or who would have taken her.
It was like Déjà vu all over again for me. Thoughts of Lamia disappearing and then Kellen was fresh in my mind except, this was different. With Lamia, we knew who had taken her. While Kellen disappeared without a trace and it took us months to track him down, Jonda didn’t have a wolf or at least she was disconnected from hers because of the stupid curse. She was vulnerable and alone.
