"MEET ME IN YOUR OFFICE IN TWENTY MINUTES" my father roared through the mind-link, waking me up with a start.
Shit what time was it? I looked around the room based off the sun. It must be late in the morning. I slept in. I can't remember the last time I slept that long. I looked down at Jazmine who was still snuggled up with her arms wrapped tightly around me. I wanted to cuddle back up with her and hold her for as long as she would let me. But my dad was pissed about something. I would have to deal with whatever it was. It would be best not to keep him waiting.
I made it to my office with one minute to spare. Of course, my father was already standing there when I arrived with his usual you f****d up look.
