"Well, I just had a very interesting conversation with the elders." I mind-linked to my mom just as I entered the pack.
"Is that so?"
"It is. I'll talk to you more about it later. I want to check on Jazmine. Then I'll meet you in my office." I had been away from Jazmine far too long, and it was making my wolf on edge. I needed to calm him down.
"Sweetheart, wait. Meet me in your office first. I have something important I need to discuss with you."
"Can it wait five minutes? I really need to see Jazmine."
"No it can't," she said flatly.
"I'm two minutes away." I said, closing the mind -link. What was so important, it couldn't wait 5 extra minutes. My wolf was on edge.
