Kobe p.o.v
Kamilla been staying with me for a couple weeks now. All she ever do is read and never say a word. I keep having the same dream, but something always ruins it. My family is coming to have dinner with me and Kamilla tonight. Me and Kane reunited 3 years ago, and all he talks about is this girl he loved, but cheated on her with some girl.
"Kamilla!" I yelled.
I didn't get an answer. Mane where is she? My mama, grandma, my father, and brother bout to be here and I threw down, yes I know how to cook my mama and grandma taught me. I walked passed my room and seen her in their looking at herself in the mirror then she smiled I knocked on the door and she looked at me.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yea," She said.
She was wearing sweatpants and a big shirt, and her hair was flat ironed. She walked passed me and downstairs, even pregnant she still look sexy. The door bell rung and I went and answered it it was my family I dapped my brother and father and hugged my grandma and mama.
"So where is she?" My mama asked.
Kamilla came in right on time but she was texting away on her phone then she put it away and smiled. She came up to me and stood next to me.
"You must be Kobe mama, his grandmother, his daddy, and his b-brother," She said.
I was confused a little why she stuttered when she said brother, and why Kane was looking at her like she a piece of meat.
"Yes it's nice to meet you..." My mama said trailing off.
"Kamilla," Kamilla said.
"Its nice to meet you Kamilla," My mama said smiling.
"Are you pregnant?" My daddy asked.
"Yea I'm 5 months," Kamilla said.
"Is Kobe the daddy?" My grandma asked excited.
"No," Kamilla mumbled.
"So you using him?" Kane asked.
"No, no, no I'm not using Kobe," Kamilla said.
"Then why isn't the daddy taking care of you?" My daddy asked.
"Because..." Kamilla said trailing off.
"Is he dead?" My grandma asked worried.
"I'm sorry this was a bad idea," Kamilla said and she took off.
"Why would y'all say that?" I asked.
"I wasn't even asking questions," Kane said.
"Kobe who is the daddy?" My mama asked.
"Her daddy, he raped her," I said.
"That poor girl," My mama said.
"Come on Rosa let's go talk to her," My grandma said.
They went upstairs.
"Why was you looking at her like that?" I asked Kane.
"Cuz that was the girl I was talking about," He said.
"The one who just ran upstairs and I'm taking care of?" I asked.
"The f**k that's supposed to mean?" He asked.
"Nigga, you ain't getting her back, you broke her heart and I'm going to fix it," I said.
Kamilla p.o.v
I looked at the picture of me and my family when I was five I was so happy as a kid. Life was so easy I used to smile, talk a lot, make up stories with my daddy at bed time, I used to play a lot, but I guess as time passed I changed a lot me and my daddy used to be close now he hates me. I haven't even seen my brother since my mama died they say he joined the army but I know that's a lie I didn't even know I was crying until something wet fell on my hand. I heard a knock at the door I looked and it was Kobe mama and grandma they came towards me and hugged me.
"Wanna talk about it?" His grandma asked.
"Not really," I said.
They nodded their heads.
"So what are you having?" His mama asked.
"A girl," I said.
"What are you naming her?" His grandma asked.
"Christian Naomi Wright," I said.
"She's going to be beautiful just like her mama," His mama said.
There was a silence in the room but a comfortable one. I just didn't know how to open up to people I just met a couple of minutes ago. Then next thing I heard was glass shattering. I wobbled downstairs and seen Kobe and Kane pointing guns at each other.
"Nigga she mines and always will be!" Kane yelled.
"Nigga is she in yo bed every night?" Kobe asked yelling.
Guilt flashed over me, I can't believe these two are fighting over me.
"Kobe put the gun down," I said.
"Kamilla he think you his," Kobe said.
I stood in front of Kobe.
"Please," I whispered.
He sighed and lowered his gun and walked away.
"Y'all really was fighting over a girl? When did y'all ever get like this?" His mama exclaimed.
I went upstairs and Kobe was in the guest bedroom and I heard the front door shut. I went to the bathroom and took a shower and did brushed my teeth and put on my pajamas and went to sleep.
