The face was hidden by the green foliage, but I could still see a small snake wriggling through the cracks in the leaves. The next second, the owner of the face leaped from the branch, through the window, and into the room. "What do you want?" I asked warily. "You seem to be recovering well." Jim's eyes burned with hatred. "I haven't settled that score with you yet, and now you grounded me with Devon. Why don't we settle this once and for all?" "Don't you dare lay a hand on me in Alpha's room." Despite my words, my body involuntarily revolted. "Do you think Devon cares if you live or die?" Jim sneered. "You're just a slave, a plaything to him, and he doesn't care who has f****d you!" I'm afraid he doesn't know about my dealings with Alpha Devon, but I can't use it as a shield just yet
