"Wash your hands before you eat," Yuna said as she brought over a plate of braised eggplant.
There wasn't a housekeeper at home. Since Yuna had come back, she didn't work at the clinic. Instead, she stayed at home to care for Cameron everyday.
"Alright." Jacob stood up and ran to wash his hands. Then, he went back to the dining table to dig in.
The family was in a good mood, especially Cameron, who sighed deep down. He had been single for decades. He never thought that one day he could eat with his family. The food was simple but hearty.
"Dad, cheers," Jacob said to him after pouring two cups of wine and raising one.
Cameron put down the chopsticks in his hand. He wasn't in a hurry to drink. He only smiled and said, "What's the matter? Do you need my help with anything?"
