Chapter 64 Evelyne’s POV The wind howled against the glass walls of the penthouse, rattling the windows like angry fists demanding entry. Outside, the city was cloaked in rain, a veil of gray and lightning. Inside, the storm was worse. Adrian stood by the fireplace, his jaw tight, shoulders tense beneath the weight of his silence.
