*I think he likes it when he gets us all worked up. Let’s play, please? He came to us. Why not go to him, throw your arms around this man's neck and have your way with him?
*Moonlight, stop. We know nothing about him. All we know is what the news says about him, and that our mate is married in his family, that he is my boss, and he is our Alpha, and the King. We can’t, and we will not do anything with this man.*
Throwing up my hands as I got up from my desk and walked to the door, “Let’s go, so I can get this done with and get back to work.” Opening the door, I waited for him to go first.
“Thank you Ms. Vincent. Your help is more appreciated,” the King said as he walked out the door, smiling. I could not lie, that smile looked good on him. Closing the door behind me, I had to run to catch up with him. Damnit, this man is frustrating.
After getting to his office, he lets me in. After getting to his desk, I got into his chair. That’s right, I’m sitting in his chair. If I have to do the work that had to do to do this, then I get the chair, and he can stand in the corner.
*Or he can stand between our legs.* Moonlight purring again. What was it about this man or wolf that made her go all nuts and horny? *Maybe we had not had s*x in a long time.* Rolling my eyes, I looked up at The King.
Watching The King, he comes around the desk and leans against his desk with his legs crossed. He did look good, just standing there. Looking up in his eyes, I saw they were not gold, they were black, like the night sky, and I wanted to swim in them.
“So, King..” I started to say but got cut off.
“Theo, call me Theo.”
I was not going to call him Theo, I’m under him, he is my Alpha, my King. I can’t do that.
“Th..Th..Th..” No, I tried. I can't, “Alpha, what is wrong with your computer?” I asked as I glanced over to it.
“I’m not getting emails.” Snapping my head over to him, he smiled.
“This has to be a f*****g joke, King. You had me stop doing my job to work on a computer because you are not getting emails?” Closing my eyes for a brief second, “Whose emails are you not getting, sir?” If he says that it's my emails he is not getting, I’m going to lose it.
“Yours.”
Jumping out of the chair, I pointed my finger at him, “You came and got me from my office. Having me stop my work because of this? The job I do, that helps your business to grow and has a bigger name than it does right now, and you got me to stop what I was doing, just so I can fix a computer that nothing is wrong with it? You are a sexy, frustrating man.” I jabbed my finger in his chest, not hard but hard enough to hurt me. As I was about to walk around him and go back to my office, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him. A low husky growl came from him, at the same time I growl came from me.
The next thing I know is, we are growling at each other. The next we are kissing. Theo wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up, and then sits me down on his desk. He spreads my legs with his body and wiggles his way so he is between my legs. I wrapped my legs around him, trying to pull him in closer.
Pulling away from me with a smile, "You think I'm sexy?"
Huh? What was this man talking about, "N..n..no"
*lier*
*Shut it Moonlight, I don't think he is sexy.*
*But you told him that he was sexy*
What?
*I did not say he was sexy.*
"You told me I was a sexy frustrating man."
I can feel my eyes go big.
*See told you*
Rolling my eyes as he started to kiss my neck, pulling a moan from me.
"I can't get you out of my head. I have been wanting to do so many things for you, it drove me crazy", he confessed.
Crashing his lips back to mine, I want him closer. I tried to deepen the kiss, but that was short-lived as someone came busting in the office again..
Looking over my shoulder, it was that man from Friday.
"Alpha is everything o...oh.."
I took that split second to push Theo off me, jumping off the desk and walking to the door. Stopping just outside the office, "Your computer is just fine, King. And maybe they are not emailing you back because they are busy or just don't want to talk to you. "So, if you excuse me, I'm busy." I turn and walk back to my office. As I'm getting on the elevator I can hear the King.
"Sage, come back here. We are not done. Damnit Tristan, you have to keep busting in the dam room when I'm busy doing something." I hear a little chuckle coming from this person called Tristan.
After sitting down back at my desk, I get a new email. Frustrating man. I look and there it is, its from the King.
Dear Ms. Vincent,
I would greatly appreciate it if you would come to dinner with me. Dinner is at 7. I'll pick you up at 6:30 tonight. I would like to get to know you better, and for you to get to know me. I'm nothing like the news says I am, and I would like to show you that. I'll see you at 6:30. The dinner will be at my house with my family.
-Theo Zimmerman
CEO of Zimmerman
Oh, no, no I can't do that. For one, because of Nox. Last thing I heard about him was he had moved in to the Zimmerman's to be close to Zoe. And no one knows that he is my mate. It would not be a good idea if I went to his house and had dinner with his family.
Dear King Aplha,
I thank you for a great time on Friday, and I thank you even more for helping me get clean clothing. But what happens in that office will stay in that office and never come out. It was a mistake on my part, and I'm sorry about that. And it will never happen again. I'm sorry if you think it will. You are my boss, and you are my Alpha and, most importantly, you are my King. And with that being said, I'll have to decline your dinner invitation. Please let's keep this professional. I have been working here for 8 years, and I really don't want to move jobs, move lands or move packs because of this.
- S.Vincent
I sent the email right before I walked out the door with my laptop and bag in hand. I didn't even stop to talk to my secretary. I had emailed her right before I sent one to the King, letting her know I would be working from home for this week. I'm not feeling so good, and I don't want to get anyone sick during our big week that is coming up.
Getting back to my one-bedroom apartment, I got back to work for the rest of the day, and not once did I think of the King, or his emails or the idea of him taking me out to dinner.
