  Camilla   "Mom, is he a bad person?" As we entered the house, Ava's soft voice broke the silence. Her teary look made me feel guilty, and it pulled at my heart. She had been quiet the entire way home because she was crying so hard that her little body shook. She eventually fell asleep in the car. I noticed in the rearview mirror that her small hands were grasping her garment as she slept. Her lips were trembling with words she couldn't express.
