I jig the cat toy up and down above one of Mona"s kittens. Isla bats it with her paw, clearly amused by the simple game. Sometimes, I wish my life could be as simple as hers. "I can"t do anything about it if you don"t tell me what the problem is," Mona points out. I don"t want to burden her.
